I don't mean to disagree, but from what I've found, to get to Sandra's home, once you enter the mobile home community, you would bear left and lot 61 is in the middle of that street.

I think you are right.  Especially with the park across the street.

Why would there even BE a police guard at the hospital while Melissa was in there?

Sorry forgot to include a link:

<snipped from this article>

Huckaby has spent several days since last week in the intensive care unit at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital for “internal bleeding,” though she refused to say exactly what condition she was admitted for. She was released Thursday morning, she said.

Police interviewed her at the hospital.

“It’s where I was, and I told them that’s where I was, so they came just because they had a few questions to ask me about what I know,” she said.

Dispatchers said over the police scanner on Tuesday that officers were “changing detail” at the hospital, where they had evidently been stationed for several hours.

Doesn't "changing detail" mean there was a police guard?     And if so, why?  Would LE "station" officers there, simply to ask "a few questions" ????

Wyks, I read that article earlier and wondered also why a police guard would be posted outside Huckaby's room. Supposedly, she was in ICU for awhile.

I do think Sgt. Sheneman has put a "lid" on any leaks for 1) to prevent someone getting hurt due to speculation on who killed Sandra.

I think your map may be right as someone on tv was watching the video of Sandra skipping. The man lived there and said that she came out from beween cars where they wash their cars and then goes by her home and looks and keeps going. I can't give a link. I just remember him saying that.

Makes more sense that lot 61 and 63 are next to each other. Odd numbers on one side of the street.  There are numbers on those units in Klaas' photos, but I can't make them out.

Some over yonder are thinking that perhaps Melissa accidentally hit Sandra with the SUV when she backed up.  Could explain why she was supposedly still wearing the same clothes she was last seen wearing.

Have to admit, I hadn't thought of this being that type of accident.

Tracy PD removed a bed from the church!

Church searched again
by Jennifer Wadsworth / TP staff
04.10.09 - 09:02 pm

Three investigators this evening took what appeared to be a fold-up bed from a church that an FBI team had already searched two days ago in connection to the murder of 8-year-old Tracy girl Sandra Cantu.

The Clover Road Baptist Church lies just yards from the mobile home park where Sandra was last seen alive March 27. Her body was found by farmworkers 10 days later stuffed inside a suitcase and submerged in a dairy pond two miles north of where she lived with her family in Orchard Estates Mobile Home Park.

Exactly two weeks after her disappearance and five days since police identified her dead body, investigators had little to tell the public without “compromising the integrity of the investigation,” Tracy police Sgt. Tony Sheneman said.

He did say he’s confident they’re heading in the right direction and even narrowing down the search for a killer.

FBI searched the Baptist church through Tuesday night. By Wednesday, they had removed the yellow crime-scene tape, though they never said whether they’d ruled it out as a crime scene or whether they’d gleaned anything useful.

By this evening, the crime-scene tape was back up again, and FBI agents and police were seen on the roof, in the shed and taking a pretty big piece of evidence — about the size of a curbside garbage can — from inside the church and into a crime scene van.

Another crime-scene van parked outside the mobile home park, where police have questioned every resident several times since Sandra’s disappearance.

Pastor of the church Lane Lawless — identified in property records as Clifford Lane Lawless — told the press earlier this week that he and his family are fully cooperating with police during the investigation because they want the killer found and their names cleared.

Their granddaughter Melissa Huckaby, 28, who lives with them, said the same. She told the Press earlier in the day today that police had towed her car, interviewed her and questioned her relatives in connection with the investigation.

She said her 5-year-old daughter used to play with Sandra and that news of the girl’s death was devastating to her and her family.

She also said she’d lost a suitcase the same hour Sandra went missing. The suitcase she lost closely matched the description of the suitcase in which police found Sandra’s fully clothed remains on Monday.

Police have scheduled a press conference for 10 a.m. Saturday.

Also Tracy Crime Stoppers announced late today that it had increased its reward for information that leads to Sandra's killer to $31,700.

Just want to clarify, the article state the church is just yards away, that is a bit misleading. The MHP is at one end the block a nd the church is at the other. It would take maybe 5 min  or so to walk. well me anyway....Ok on page 20something, going  to read more.

The bed could be in the daycare for toddlers to nap during church.  Melissa could have a bleeding ulcer.  Just playing devil's advocate.

Honestly, it sounds like it's not much of a church.  Melissa could have a bleeding ulcer but 27/28 is pretty young for that.

No really. I have friends who've had bleeding ulcers in their early twenties...worrying...anxiety issues...victims.

Drinking and drugs can cause bleeding ulcers too. Still reading, sorry if I am behind. man you all wrote alot while I was having dinner.

Wykes, I read that also...the residents think Huckaby hit her with her SUV.  If that were so, then wouldn't there be marks on the body?  They would have a method of death, IMO.  I read online Sgt. Sheneman stated there were no marks on her body.  It's good to bounce ideas around and clarification what is fact and fiction.

I don't think F.W. is a suspect.  I do think, however, Sinclaire and Slayter may be involved.  With this new information on Huckaby, I am inclined to think she knows more than she's saying.

He sure does fit the description of the guy in the Silverado parked on the wrong side of the road by the retention pond.  He also gave a b.s. story about a suitcase being stolen from the church.

I read a comment on Tracy Press from a resident that she also been on that road looking for Sandra.  She said the description of the truck fit the description of many trucks in Tracy, being it's a farm community.  She said the person could've just been looking for Sandra as she was.  She seemed offended that anyone would consider that person suspect.

Take the posters on the Tracy Press with a grain of salt. many just want to argue, I am not posting on there right now, don't want to get into it.
