Unfortunately, it has come across my scanner that a 22 year old with a past history of seizures, calling from the HaleighBug Center was having a seizure at the time of the initial call for EMS, however the woman has ceased seizing, was conscious and alert with a bloody nose. Immediately following the call out for EMS, the HaleighBug center called again, requesting LEO… I’m waiting now as I type this at 1am, listening to my scanner…to possibly learn more as to why LEO was requested…

Please let us know as soon as you do!

HH ~  I just went to Art's site, to see if there was a follow up post to this.  After about a 1/2 hr of waiting, the poster said that they did not have any further info to post on this.

Grama iirc in Art's last article regarding the parents statements about the school busstop the evening of Feb 9th,  I don't recall him posting that Misty actually picked up Haleigh.  He posted that some parents saw Misty's van at the busstop.

Ok, I found his first post regarding the matter:

Haleigh did ride the bus home. Ronald has said he picked her up and took her home before he went to work, but two sets of parents tell me they saw Misty pull up in the blue van, and yell at the children to hurry as they piled in. “I remember Haleigh was smiling when she got off the bus,” Santos wife tells me.

Haleigh may have or may not have got into the van with Misty.  I do not see anything  definitive in the above post of Art Harris.

Although I appreciate him keeping Haleigh in the news, I do have to say that his reporting and/or posting can use some work.

Reports of a bloody mess at Haleigh Bug Headquarters…

A Putnam County Fire Rescue ambulance picked up an unknown subject at about 1a.m. Monday, April 27, 2009 at the Haleigh Bug Headquarters on South US 17 in Satsuma, FL, the agency confirmed this morning.

Due to HIPPA laws, the identity of the subject was not released.

The unidentified female subject was hospitalized after suffering a seizure and receiving a facial injury in her subsequent fall causing lots of bleeding.

Witnesses tell WSKY that a hatchet was also found inside the Haleigh Bug building.

WSKY cannot confirm witness claims as to why the hatchet was out in plain sight inside the small Haleigh Bug building or for what possible use the hatchet may have been used.

REPORTER’S NOTES 4/26/2009

Information has been forwarded to WSKY regarding alleging more bad blood between Haleigh Cummings’ stepmother, 17-year-old Misty Cummings, and Amber Brooks, the woman who bore a son to Haleigh’s Father, Ronald Cummings over 20 months ago.

This information also supports a theory private investigators and others are researching involving the associations between Misty Cummings and two women who were recently jailed on cocaine charges in Putnam County.

The women who were jailed on Monday, April 20, 2009 are Kristina Rene “Nay-Nay” Prevatt and Amber Brooks.

In the days prior to the disappearance of 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings from her Satsuma, FL home where Misty Cummings was the last person to see her, Ms. Cummings was in the company of Kristina Rene “Nay-Nay” Prevatt.

Prevatt claims she arranged a meeting between Misty and a local man named Greg Page. That meeting reportedly resulted in a couple of days of sex and drug use for Misty and Greg the weekend before Haleigh vanished on February 10, 2009.

Prevatt is also an associate of Amber Brooks, the other woman who was jailed with her on cocaine charges April 20, 2009 in Putnam County.

WSKY has since discovered about the difficult relationship between Misty Croslin-Cummings, Amber Brooks and Ambers’ mother Lisa Ann Brooks:
September 25, 2008, Misty Croslin (now Cummings), 16 years old at that time, filed a police report claiming Amber Brooks’ mother, 37-year-old Lisa Ann Brooks, committed battery on Misty.

October 6, 2008: Amber’s mother, Lisa Ann Brooks, is charged by State’s Attorney for battery on Misty Croslin.

November 14, 2008: 4:52 PM Misty Croslin allegedly posts nasty comments on Amber Brooks myspace page under a photo of Amber Brook and the baby son she had by Ronald Cumming.

This new information lends support the claim made last week by private investigator William “Cobra” Staubs on WSKY and TheSky973.Com that Kristina Rene “Nay Nay” Prevatt and Amber Brooks are key to this case.

William “Cobra” Staubs has been working on this particular lead since the middle of last week.

WSKY continues for follow this lead and several others in the search for Haleigh Cummings.

either we believe the "locals" on another forum board or we believe Art Harris about Ron being at work all night...I am confused ....I am not believing anything till it comes from the LE...jmo..
Ron may very well be the bad ass that everyone is so quick to believe, I don't know, I don't know any of these people...but I don't think that he would cover for Misty or anyone else if he thought that they had harmed Haleigh...I don't think that he was home that night, nor do I think that he harmed Haleigh....jmo....Now Misty, she knows something....What the heck is taking so long on this case? why haven't they leaned harder on Misty, since she was the last person to have seen Haleigh? Maybe she would crack if they took her in and questioned her more...it is so frustrating!

Pirate over yonder does not like Ronald. She reminds me a lot of Anflorida and they conspired a lot against Ronald. I would not take her word just because she is a local.

I agree...some believed in AnnaFl and look what a fake she turned out to be...I don't take anything as the gospel till I hear it from the LE...which has been a long time in hearing from them!

I hope that if she suffered another seizure that she is ok...
how sure are we that this info is legit? We also heard "by scanners" IIRC, that Ron had sent Ron JR. up to the door of Amber's grand mothers home  to ask about baby Jordan and that was not true...
there are a bunch of nutters in that county and Haleigh's relatives are not out of the loop on that one! Poor baby! I sure hope that the LE get a lead on all of this and finds that child

If that isn't enough, this paragraph from the Art Harris article was disturbing to say the least.  Family members also tell me paramedics found her woozy and, Cobra, who raced to the scene with her attorney, Kim Picazio, says he found an ax on the floor, an apparent weapon Crystal had armed herself with to ward off a possible stalker her sister said they’d spotted “wearing all black,” and lurking outside.

No stalker was found, said Cobra.

Hello Monkeys,  I heard the same thing,  Misty is gonna Lawyer up, the only reason for that is someone thinks soneon is getting close to something that is gonna get her in trouble, thats the only reason I can think of for her to get a lawyer right now,,,,,,,She wants to already have one when the sh!t hits the fan.........wonder who has talked!!!!!!

Yes, I'm sure they are.

That is a huge problem with this case, but I don't think Ron or Misty knew or hung out with many professor or doctor types.

they are really standing by that Ron's alibi holds up...he was at work and cell phone pings prove... also it's now being said the PO has told LE that if they a a witness of such magnitude that can put anyone in this case in a different light, they can now offer someone like that immunity.
