Before you toss Art Harris away, why don't you all look up his credentials on his site ? It is common courtesy to not lift entire articles and paste them elsewhere, isn't it ? I don't blame him for getting ticked off.

He doesn't need 15 minutes of fame, he has had a lifetime of it.
And he certainly didn't need this case for any reason other than to find Haleigh.

Not defending nor arguing your point. Just stating my opinion.
I would have asked someone to email me at such and such address. To clear things up privately. I would have used a throw away email to post in the forum requesting the person to contact myself regarding the issue.    The method of using a forum to call out someone puts them on the defensive mindset from the get go. 

We all want Haleigh to be found.   There are so many twisting statements about this case.  In the end, we all want her home safely.  If there was foul play involved, the person or persons responsible need to be held accountable.

I agree, I don't feel he handled it well at all.  It felt like high school & pointing fingers back & forth.  It's a shame he took the focus off Haleigh & wasted so much time on quoting his articles.  I realize that I am guilty of doing the same thing by bringing this up again & apologize.  I just don't want to put a bad light on SM for something I did by mistake.

I agree, If Art really wanted to discuss posting rules, I would think he would have found a better way to word his comments and certainly not jump the gun and call someone out, before he knew the entire story and the facts to back them up,

I read Art Harris and he has mentioned this before.
Persons doing a copy and paste and not giving him any credit whatsoever.
SM doesn't like it when that is done. And posters don't like when their entire posts appear on other sites with no credit or hat tip given.
Art is being beat up on for being in it for the money. Well, he is a journalist and that is how he makes his living. SM is not privately funded either. Clicks and advertising are important.
Art also has had boots on the ground in this case. I think the criticism of Art and his site went way over the top.

According to Art Harris, he is NOT a member of SM.  Whether he comes over here and reads, is questionable.

But...according to what he had posted on his site in his comments...He was taking someone else's word  and did not do his homework and completely check out the accusations, before he went and BLEW HIS TOP. 

A investigation prior would have been a bit more appropriate.  But this just shows everyone, the true 'ART HARRIS'.

Art Harris…has gone from Nasirya to Neverland…from 13 years with CNN as a two-time Emmy Award-winning investigative correspondent and an embedded reporter in Iraq, to covering Hollywood scoops, scandals and politics for Entertainment Tonight…             I remember watching Art Harris for years, what happened that he went from a person of integrity to this? I'm not being mean, I'm just curious what happened?
