Thank you to my Candian monkey friends who enlightened me on the Canadian Justice System.  I don't even know the half of what happened up there in Woodstock but if what I'm thinking did...this case sure would be a text book death penalty or LWOP case in the US.

I lost a child 18 years ago in a car accident.  I know that really was havoc on me, but there was closure, it was an accident.  This, like how can, if I was a parent and it happened I don't know if I could live with it.  I find it difficult now just hearing about it.

They are saying abduction was random, she was taken for sexual perposes and any connection with Tori's parents was total coincidence.

Helicopters still flying.  Have seemed to narrow their search to a few square kilometers.  Ground unit has been directed to a specific area.  First time reporter has seen this today.  Dogs are also now looking in that area as well.

They just said Rodney Stafford may speak to media shortly.  They were showing a earlier interview with him this morning prior to him going to the police station.

I am surprised she wasn't asked if Tara has cried

I got the sense from Linda that she was not real close to her daughter.  It was weird how she was almost like a person from the street talking rather than a grandma.  Please don't read too much into it, she may just be in total shock.

Interview with Rodney Stafford.

Police have told him that they have verified that Victoria has passed.  I myself as Victoria's father refuse to believe that until I actually see either the remains of my daughter or my daughters body. 

Q.  Did the police ever give you a sense of motive, why these people did it?

Ronald - No, No

Q.  Do you know them?

Rodney - No, I do not.

Q. At the time you mentioned that you recognized the composite sketch, does this match now?

Ronald - Now that I have seen a picture of the girl involved, this Terry Lynn and the composite sketch, there is quite a similarity yes.

Q.  But do you know her at all?

Ronald - No I do not

Q.  Does Tarra?

Ronald - To my understanding through wanting to breed dogs, that is what I have been told.

Q.  You were at so many vigils, so many searches, you searched on your own for so long, and now police are saying she possibly died the day she vanished or right after.

Ronald - I have heard that yes, but like I said I refuse to believe that until I do see my daughter.

Q. Ronald what do you want to say to these people?

Ronald - They're scum, they're piece of dirt.  Takes a big man to take his frustrations out on a 8 year old girl who can not defend herself. 

Q.  Sounds like your daughter was randomly chosen, or was randomly picked, what are your thoughts on t hat?

Ronald - I honestly can not comment on that

Q.  Do you know anything about that  this accused had a daughter that went to the same school as your daughter

Ronald - I am not aware of that, no.

Q.  Can you elaborate on the breeding of the dogs, that there was a connection that Tara wanted to breed.

Ronald- It was to my understanding that Tara was wanting to breed her dog with Terry-Lynn's Mom's dog or something like that

Thanks Northern Rose... ...I do not know where he gets the strength to go on.  God Bless Tori, Rodney, Tara, & Tori's older brother and all that love Tori.  May God grant them the peace and strenth to endure this terrible pain.
