Michael Riley
Alan Riley
Ian Riley
Conan Riley
Cordan Riley
Timothy Riley

I like Ian Riley, hubs dislikes the name Timothy and Michael.  Never heard Cordan before, is that Celtic?

I really don't know Dolce.  I just know this couple who named their son that and they are all the time saying Cord this and Cord that and it does sound really good.

Also think about if he used the Riley with last name, and only first initial.

Like S. Riley LastName.  That needs to sound good as well.

Riley flows very nicely, infact if we were to go with Benjamin or Matthew we thought of calling our son by his middle name Riley as other family members have those names.

Dolce,
I agree that Riley blends well and think most anything you put with it will sound good.

Larson Riley
Glendon Riley
Austin Riley

You could also go with the Saint name for the day on which he is born.  There is one for every day of the year.

We have decided on a few name choices for our son.  After giving the hubs more ideas last night when Sunny sparked the naming session, hubs finally came to a decision that narrowed things down.  Here are the name combo's and I would love to hear some feedback.  (We try to think of how a child could be teased based on their name..so let me know what you think is less of a hardship for a child to bear)

Jordan Riley
Matthew Riley
Noah Riley
Benjamin Riley

Riley is for sure the middle name we will be going with, its a mixture of both Grandfathers names. Smile  Any help is much apreciated!!!!!

I love my monkey family!!

That's a nice list of boys names Dolce.    However, I know of 3 girls named Jordan, and one does spell it "Jordyn", and her family owns a women's clothing shop called "Jordyn's Closet".   I used to think of Jordan as a boys name, but these days, not so much.
Another very good point Muffy, and I told hubs that I liked the name Jordan for a girl more than a boy and he gave me a weird face.  I grew up with a boy named Jordan and the kids called him Jordy...always reminded me of a pig for some reason.

My friends have a son about 25 years old and his name is "Jordan", but he is always called "Jordy".

Oh, Oh, OH

I am the best Aunt!!  I have refrences too!!  Auntie Mytime - sounds good, don't you think.

PS I still like Steele Riley!!

But from your list, I like Benjamen the best!
I hereby dub thee Auntie Mytime!

I never gave him the Steele Riley option, and he said it sounded like a very bad male porn name.    I did not ask him how he would know, just gave him the evil eye.

I like Bejamen, Nicholas or Anthony - none one shortened!!

Oh, MYTIME, I have read musing for a long time before I joined. Do you have a fan club. If so, I would join. I love all of you over here, but I have laughed out loud so many times seeing MyTime in her scooter. I would have a hard time posting trying to keep up with everyone's wit and graphics. Just wanted to let you know I am a Musing fan, but especially a MYTIME fan!

You're welcome. I will join your fun one night. Thanks!

I'm watching the memorial for Sandra Cantu.

It is echoing and very hard to hear. Don't know if I can stick with it. I'm getting dizzy. Help me!

Dolce,

Your baby boy name reminded me of friends who named their first born Jacob Riley...
I thought it unique/unusual at the time but that was about 10 years ago.

I am glad you are not going the sports star route (been there).  My hubby loves his Yankees and my older son's middle name is after his Dad's fav all-time player.  Son hates it and doesn't use it.  Hubby wanted 2nd son to be Billy Martin ________.  That didn't happen.

House hold hint. Never open two windows of a live feed. You will have an echo. I feel so stupid.

A1

I am so glad you got your new computer to work again.  All I could think of when I heard it blew up was that it was still under warranty but knowing that's no comfort when one wants their 'puter, I was keeping fingers crossed.

I like them all!!  Too hard to choose just one.   Here's a few more...

Christian Riley
Jason Riley
Ethan Riley
Trevor Riley

I like Jason Riley or Jacob Riley.     But from the list Dolce had -  I would pick Noah Riley.

My daughter who is due in August has picked the name   Anna Victoria.   (Combinations from her two sisters - and her two grandmothers)!    Her boy name was going to be Jacob.   Maybe the next one will be a boy!
My middle daughter has already claimed the name Michael for her son (she's already planning and she's not even married)

Thanks!    Those two names are my two youngests' middle names.   Needless to say, they are thrilled that their first niece will be named after them!         I think that name sounds sophisticated and elegant.       A little princess is on the way!
