The new lawyer's charges:   What is interesting is all have been consolidated into case number 06-O-14552.  He has requested Alternative Discipline Program and is scheduled 01/29/2009.

The Alternative Discipline Program addresses the substance abuse and mental health problems of attorneys against whom formal disciplinary proceedings have been initiated in the State Bar Court.

If we can find all this info on a California lawyer, why can't we find out who was Casey/Zanny's lawyer in traffic court? And why can't we find a picture of Deputy Cain?? I have a headache from butting my head against a brick wall.

Do any of you know about the fight Desi mentioned between Cindy and Casey the weekend of the 9th related to 12 thou?  I have not seen anything on that and wanted to add it to my money time line I have started.

this is a great idea.  Honestly, since Twitter is so new, it's the perfect time to get ahold of someone like her.  I have been able to talk to some pretty famous people (famous in my Field of work/study) by sending them a Tweet.  I recommend this if people want to get through to her!!

The for-sale signs might have come down, but no sale is pending on land where a makeshift Caylee Anthony memorial stands, WESH-Channel 2 reported this afternoon.

In a report yesterday, the station asked if the land might have been sold.

But a Web listing for the land remains active, WESH's Bob Kealing said today. The asking price: $89,900.

The real-estate agent has been told by the land's owner not to make any statement about the sale, WESH added.

Progressive postpartum depression is one of the least recognized diseases suffered by young mothers despite the fact that almost 80% of women who give birth experience some form of postpartum upset. Although this symptom picture is well described in the research literature, postpartum depression is not recognized in the mental health professional’s legal “bible,” the Diagnostic Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, fourth edition (“DSM IV”). [20] The symptoms of postpartum depression may masquerade as manic-depression (bipolar disorder). Periods of euphoria, agitation, sleeplessness, sexual promiscuity, and hyperactivity characterize the manic symptoms. Poor judgment is a result. [21]

Progressive Postpartum Depression and Psychosis

A common misperception is that the postpartum depression is nothing more than the “baby blues” and will disappear on its own shortly after childbirth. [22] However, if untreated, the disease can develop into a more severe form, progressive postpartum depression or even psychosis. When this happens, the mother suffers from continued episodes of mania or depression, each one progressively worse than the last. Rejections, separations, and losses often trigger subsequent recurrent episodes. Because of the episodic nature, the woman is often untreated or undiagnosed until a tragedy occurs.

Despite the common misconception that only newborns are at risk from this disease, mothers suffering from the more severe form kill older children. The case of Andrea Yates more than amply illustrates this point.

First off,  you are incorrect about Yates because she had a host of psychiatric problems for many years outside of PPD - it was the LEAST of her issues.  I'm sorry but  while I feel her husband was totally negligent in allowing her to care for 5 children alone & she was not being treated sufficiently,  she did not suffer merely from PPD after one much less five births.

Secondly, Casey had issues BEFORE she was pregnant, pathological lying, stealing, dropping out of high school one class shy of graduation requirements, etc. but they do not rise to the level that she did not know right from wrong NOR meet the criteria of the criminally insane...sorry no go.

Thirdly, her own family adamantly has stated that she has had no mental health issues publicly & via sworn statement & never assisted her in getting mental health professional treatment.

Last but certainly not least, Casey's deliberate actions to conceal things that she has done makes this argument very weak - as well as her extremely active role in participating in her defense including trying to implicate others.    Lenamon go back and crawl in your pond scum hole your blogs arent worth the paper you are wasting in this nation's economic crisis, its really no wonder why you are merely left to defend the most heinous in our society.
