That is a really interesting theory.  We know the gas guage worked, maybe that was her way to get others prints on her car.

The only thing I can come up with for a defense using Jesse. Jesse is madly in love with Casey, she dumped him and moved on, Jesse didn't move on, Jesse tried to win Casey back, repeatedly. The anger he was harboring got worse and worse, he wanted to get even with Casey for not going back into his arms, he got even with Casey by kidnapping Caylee and killing her, and set Casey up for the crime. I really got to stop watching so much tv.

A new lawyer is joining Casey's defense team. Judge Stan Strickland gave Todd Macaluso the green-light Friday to join Casey's team.


Macaluso said that his expertise is in cross-examining expert witnesses. The judge let Macaluso on, despite ongoing problems with the California bar.

Casey's lead attorney, Jose Baez, has also had problems with the Florida bar.

New addition to the Anthony defense team, Todd Macaluso.

The newest member of the Casey Anthony defense team claims she will be proven innocent at trial. “She should not be in jail right now,” Todd Macaluso said on Monday.   

According to Macaluso, “The more people and the more talent and different experience that we have on the case will certainly contribute to the best case being put on.  I think everyone adds a different dimension to a very good trial team.”

Macaluso's firm specializes in plaintiffs who have suffered serious injury or death due to “aviation accidents, airline accidents, product liability… premises liability cases and medical malpractice cases… He has a 92% win track record in court before juries.”

Macaluso calls the state’s evidence in the Anthony case “junk science” and claims there is an explanation for all the forensic evidence found in the case, including the decomposing hair found in Anthony's trunk that was thought to be Caylee's.

“The evidence is going to be very surprising to a lot of people in this community,” Macaluso said.

A court date for Anthony’s murder trial is tentatively set for Oct. 12.  Anthony is charged with the first-degree murder of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

Apparently, Judge "Stan the Man" Strickland has a vivid sense of humor...why not another narcissist in the courtroom, maybe this "team" wont survive before the trial date
