it would creep me out to go back into that church knowing that Sandra was most likely murdered there...I couldn't go back...course, I don't think that I would be a member there to begin with from the looks and sounds of things...

After reading the San Joaquin Herald article posted on Blinks - well - I would say that was quite intriguing.  Anyway - we may have this already - but thought I would post it anyway.  A friend emailed it to me:

"Apparently before Huckaby was married, she was in Tracy and filed to obtain a temporary restraining order against Joshua Palmer.  I transcribed her account of this from a TV shot of the paper:

"April 17 Joshua Palmer arrived at my work? and Sat outside of it for over 2 1/2 hours Security cameras seen him and so we called the police
when they arrived he was sitting hiding next to my Car. He was asked to leave and I was escorted home. Incident Report is (available?)

April 18 Joshua Palmer called me on my cell phone telling me he needed to talk to me. So I went outside and he told me that he was going to make my life as miserable as ? and that he was going to kill me and a family friend Officer Dan Pasquale. He has been seen by other residents and our park manager numerous amounts of times in the middle of the night lurking around my house and the other...."

I think because Huckaby is charged with raping, kidnapping and murdering a female child, there is hardly any deep research regarding her male friends, and there are quite a few:

Christian Sinclair, 49
Johnny Huckaby (former husband)
Dan Pasquale, Tracy cop
Joshua Palmer
Fred Williams (helper, custodian at grandparents church)
David Slayter, 44

I don't mean that her male friends were involved in any child abuse, but the connections of these people to government and any criminal activity are just not explored. Also Huckaby listed herself as a "party organizer" on her website. I wish I knew of the parties she organized, if any, and whether she was employed to do so.  Must be someone in Tracy who "partied" with her or at one of her parties.  Was she an "event organizer" for businesses?  For fantasy football parties, or other fantasy sports parties related to Biosoftsports.com?  Virtual sports involved with "virtual" porn or children posing to these "virtual" events?

As you know child porn is put into all kind of images, and files and often sent peer to peer. Payment modes must also exist.  A possible way to pick up money and to share files is a firm, connected to gambling and baseball (kids love baseball) owned by Timothy John Lawless:

(I detect Lawless owns up to 9 domains, but it is necessary to pay to get detailed printouts for them like the one below and the Biosoftports is the only one I have, other than VendorConnects, Inc., with a website, under his umbrella corporation  Next Opportunity, Inc. I have also perplexed about who "J. Sickenger" is, on his reverse phone number from his verified home residence:

BioSoft Sports’ History

BioSoft Sports utilizes the principles of biorhythms, coupled with decades of research, to make accurate predictions about personal performance, team performance and the outcome of sporting events.

Building Blocks

BioSoft Sports was created from the vision and tenacity of one man: Harvey Makishima. It all began when Makishima purchased a Kosmos biorhythm calculator in 1976. By analyzing NBA games, he soon realized that biorhythms affected the way players performed during the game, which ultimately affected the team's performance and the game’s outcome. He thought that his discovery was too obvious. In order to prove that these outcomes were not a fluke, he began to track the biorhythmic sine waves of each of the players using pen and paper.

After completing research to verify his initial findings, Makishima refined his system. He discovered that certain cycles were the key components in a player's performance. He had discovered the biorhythm secret! Using this secret method of biorhythm analysis and applying specific values to each segment of the biorhythmic sine waves, he was able to determine when athletes have the greatest potential for exceptional performance as well as select winners versus the spread with incredible accuracy.

As Luck Would Have It

Makishima reasoned that if biorhythms affected a player's performance in a game, they might also affect a person's business and personal life as well. In 1986, Makishima developed an Apple Basic application that incorporated his biorhythmic analysis methods. With this new application, he continued his biorhythms research on an individual level. He poured over data, recorded highly unusual events involving luck, and tracked hundreds of people's biorhythms.

With the help of the biorhythm software and interviews with real people, he discovered that the cycles do affect individuals! Just like players in the sports arena, a person's success rate is directly related to their Biorhythmic cycles.  Extraordinarily, he found that each of us has four days when we have the most potential for highly unusual luck. Makishima realized that he could determine when these four days would occur by analyzing a person's biorhythms!

A Company Is Born

In 1995, Makishima enlisted the help of a computer scientist to refine and upgrade his application. With the upgrade, the application could be used on a home PC and could incorporate databases containing vital information about specific sports. This program became the basis for the Biorhythm Secrets family of software: TeamBios, FantasyBio, BioCalendar and several other biorhythmic analysis software, which you can use to compute your personal daily biorhythms, or the biorhythms of an entire team. Using Team Bios, Makishima computed the outcome of over 60,000 NFL and NBA games, and obtained the same exceptional results that he had derived over 32 years earlier using pen and paper! Today, BioSoft Sports incorporates Harvey Makishima's vision and the science of biorhythms into all of its products.

Online Applications Become a Reality

In 2005, Makishima created a joint venture with BioSportsPro to make online versions of his software applications available via the Internet and in mobile devices such as mobile phones, PDAs, tablet PCs and laptops. Television will also be a viable media for Biosoft Sports’ products in the near future.

The man who found Sandra

Jose Luis Franco talks about the day he found the suitcase with Sandra Cantu's body. Glenn Moore/Tracy Pressslideshow

Farm worker Jose Luis Franco talks about the day he found the suitcase while he was working. Glenn Moore/Tracy Pressslideshow Thousands of volunteers, Tracy police officers and FBI agents searched around the clock earlier this month for Sandra Cantu.

But it was a dairy farmworker just going about his job who led to the discovery of the 8-year-old girl’s body.

Jose Luis Franco, 40, found a suitcase in a dairy lagoon on April 6 containing what was later found to be Sandra’s body and alerted the police. Later this month, the Carole Sund/Carrington Foundation will reward him with a little more than $20,000 for his discovery, according to Tracy police spokesman Sgt. Tony Sheneman.

Franco, who speaks only Spanish, said Friday night through translator Laura Flores that the reward is “like a blessing.”

He has worked for Bacchetti & Silva Dairy north of Tracy for 11 years. He plans to put most of the money in a trust fund for the education of his four children, hoping they can go to college.

Franco said the Tracy police and the foundation told him a week ago that he’d earned the reward money, but he hadn’t told anyone but his wife, Margarita Franco, and his children. He said he was waiting until he actually has the check in his hand, adding that the rest of his family and friends will surely be happy for him when he tells them.

“I thought of spending it (at first),” Margarita said jokingly, through the translator. “We’ll pay for our children’s education. It’s going to come in handy.”

Scott Webb, the foundation’s executive director, said Franco will get the money within the next couple of weeks. Webb said the foundation put up $5,000 initially, and the rest of the money came from donations.

“It’s very important that common people come forward and help to share information to solve the case,” Webb said, “so I’m very glad that they took the time to do that.”

Franco said he was nervous when he first found the suitcase, but after police and FBI told him he wasn’t going to be held responsible for anything, he was able to relax.

The Francos moved to Tracy in 1991 from Jalisco, Mexico, where Jose was born. Before he worked for Bacchetti & Silva, he worked for a farm in Mountain House.

While Franco will receive the reward money, a few psychics have come forward recently, saying they felt the money should be theirs.

Sheneman said that the money will go only to Franco.

“We did not review or utilize any tips or information provided to us by psychics,” he said.

It must have been horrible for him to find.  I'm sure he knew there was a body in that luggage when he found it.  He didn't know who but I'm sure he knew something was in it.

He definately deserves the reward!

I agree.  He knew a little girl was missing & the possibility of what was in that suitcase.  I can't imagine the thoughts that went through his head when he found it.  And he was smart enough not to open it, but to report it.  Cudos to him!

yep;;;good for him that he reported it.....
wonder what tipped him off though...would most people upon seeing a suitcase in the water think that it was odd, but would you consider that a body was in it? did he lift it and realized that something was in there because of the weight of it?
thank goodness he had enough savvy to report it...otherwise it might have been longer before Sandra was found...sadly...

Cookie - IMO, the suitcase was out of place, it didn't belong there.  So he went to move it to the side of the irrigation ditch.  When he moved it he probably got close enough to smell something was dead in the bag.  He didn't know who or what but knew enough to call LE.

Glad to know he is taking the money. I had read somewhere he was saying he didn't want it. Or maybe that was the detective saying that? Anyway, glad he is and it is going to a good cause.
I bet though this will shake him up for the rest of his life. I cannot imagine finding something like that. It would just change you, kwim? Poor man I feel badly for him.

TRACY, CA - A Tracy dairy farmworker who found the remains of 8-year-old murder victim Sandra Cantu last month will receive a reward of more than $20,000 for the discovery, a Tracy police spokesman confirmed Saturday.

Jose Luis Franco, 40, is expected to get a check later this month from the Carole Sund/Carrington Foundation, Tracy police Sgt. Tony Sheneman said.

ARCHIVE: See past News10 coverage of the Sandra Cantu case

Franco, an employee at Bacchetti & Silva Dairy north of Tracy, found the girl's body in a suitcase dumped in an irrigation pond April 6. The discovery came 10 days after Sandra Cantu was reported missing from her home at a nearby mobile home park.

I’ve googled Dan Pasquale. The few articles available portray him as a level headed dedicated Police Officer. It’s possible that MH made too much of the relationship in order to scare off Joshua Palmer. I’m sure Pasquale has been questioned since I have seen his name before linked to MH - probably because of these Incident Reports. Public authority figures are always vulnerable to people like MH making the relationship more than what it is. I feel Pasquale is not someone of concern - Now Joshua Palmer on the other hand is someone to look at. Why was he stalking her ? These Incident Reports were made before MH was married - so they are fairly old - maybe Palmer is long gone.

I'm even wondering if Melissa made this up to some degree about this Palmer guy, it wouldn't surprise me at all, so she could get attention.
