Okay Monkeys, this MAY be breaking news, someone may have already posted, or this may be nothing, BUT.....the As are no longer listed as being speakers at the conference!!!!!!!!

http://www.melanieriegerconference.com/agenda.php

I guess I AM the invisible monkey.  BLINK, did you get a response to your email??  I did not.  Here is the letter I sent yesterday

Dear Dr Rieger,
First, I would like to say how very sorry I am to read about your daughter.  I have 12 children, and of course, their safety and health is always a concern to me.
I have found out that George and Cynthia Anthony will be speakers at your conference.  Quite honestly, I am shocked and appalled.  <snipped>

AK, I responded to your post before Fanny Mae did. Apparently she is busy checking out Trimm's hubby's dingy. I applaud your letter, it was well written. I didn't even think about writing a letter. Good for you for going above and beyond!!

Thanks Boo, and I want to apologize to everyone, if I sounded over-sensitive.  I would love to know if Blink got a response from Dr Rieger.  I am really wondering what he was thinking when he invited them to speak.

I have followed this case quite closely, as I am becoming more and more concerned about the violence and crime that is quickly becoming prevalent in our everyday lives.  I am most concerned about the youngest victims, children, who are not able to speak for themselves.  George and Cindy Anthony, of course, have every right to stand by their adult daughter, who has been charged with the death of their granddaughter.  It is right that they continue to love her.  What is not acceptable is their continued thwarting of the investigation.  A simple review of documents and interviews with law enforcement, attorneys, and FBI show not only inconsistencies that would be within the norm, but also outright lies.  Anyone in such a stressful situation could make mistakes, but the facts are that in their efforts to protect their daughter, these people have shown that they are willing to do almost anything, thus thwarting the efforts to bring justice to this case.
I applaud your efforts but would urge you to discuss the attendance of the Anthonys with Mark Klaas.  Mr Klaas is a tireless defender of those unable to speak for themselves.  He has voiced his opinion of the  Anthony family quite frequently.  Please, if you do nothing else, discuss this family with him.
I further hope that I can get some assurance from you that you are not helping fund the defense of this young women.  I would be the first to say that she rightly deserves defending, BUT, the defense of this young lady has taken the focus off of what is truly important in this case.  Caylee was killed, mostly likely by her parent.  Who will advocate for Caylee?  Who remembers what this is really about?
I would respectfully ask that you reconsider having this family speak at your conference.  I cannot think how this in any way would honor your daughter's memory.  I would also be grateful if you could re-assure me that you are not helping to fund the defense of this young woman.  Jose Baez and his incompetence is just one more reason that this case is becoming a circus, and not a search for justice for a murdered chid.
Justice for all,

JUSTICE FOR OUR GIRL!!!

We did it - twice in one week!    The way Mark Klass spoke tonight I wondered if it was in the works!

The voice of one resonates and then sings in numbers, for all us monkeys & others across this land that contributed in raising their voices I am honored & proud to be one among you.   Caylee, precious babygirl, I hope you are looking down at all of us standing for justice in your name and other victims like you, each and every one of you angels will be in our hearts forever...we will march on until our work is done.   To everyone here

Mr Red, if you are still up here, can I ask a stupid question? Sunny said earlier that smarter people than Joy tried to shut the monkeys down and I just wanted to know who tried to do that? JSM isn't a smart monkey and really wants to know the answer. TIA JSM

Dear Red, if you answer JSM she will love you forever and send pizza and wings to your house in appreciation. If you make her a recording of your voice she will play it every night before she goes to sleep. BTW do you look like Charleston Heston?? He's hot. Esp when he was younger!!

Let's see....

Made complete asses of themselves at the deposition,
Made complete asses of themselves on CBS this morning,
Got kicked off the Oprah Winfree Show,
Got kicked off the Melanie Rieger panel....

All in all, a pretty good week for the Anthony's

Yikes I'm so far behind.

LOL, well, I only have 8 at home any more, 7 that are home schooled(8 if you count the one that is doing correspondence college and that I shouldn't HAVE to ask if he has completed his lessons).  If I don't sit right with them while they are doing their school, it doesn't get done, so my mini lap top and I sit, do school, and try to knit and read Scared Monkeys, it keeps me sane.   Honestly, I am honored to be on this forum with all these smart monkeys.  Doubly honored to be able to speak with you.

Lovely letter. You must be a great mama with 12 kids. I have one and he is furry and hopped up on Benadryl.  I just wish I could write like the smart monkeys. JSM isn't very articulate. JSM would use bad language in her letters regarding the Anthonys.

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A May 7 motion hearing in the Anthony case has been rescheduled.

Circuit Court Judge Stan Strickland was set to hear an emergency motion for protective order on that date. Casey Anthony’s defense attorney, Jose Baez, originally filed the motion on March 11.

The hearing has been rescheduled for May 28 at 10 a.m.

dangnabit....grrrrr    The wheels of justice are turning really too slow for my patience!

I guess Judge Strickland didn't think it was much of an emergency.

I have missed it or something, because I am not sure what this "emergency" hearing is about. Could someone tell me?

Way to go Blink and all Monkeys that emailed the Conference!

MONKEYS ... WAY TO GO. The first step in justice for Caylee.

You made your voice heard and heard it was. Families across America, let alone the world, struggle with the tragic loss of loved one's. However, most do not defend and continually enable the very person responsible for the loss and try and get their own PR in the process.

MONKEYS ... YOU MADE A DIFFERENCE!!!

Do not ever think that your one voice is not important. One, turns to two, turns to 10, turns to 100 and so on.

Your continued efforts and caring for Caylee and your continued focus on Caylee have made a difference.

GREAT WORK.

Nice letter Blink!

The A's best get yet to these types of disappointment. This is what happens when you defend a child's killer.

KUDOS MONKEYS.
