Muffsan the formidable moderating duo

Maybe I need to change my image.  Interesting thought there.

I only now noticed San's new avi, love that wooden shoe tapping too.

ANJ -

One thing I've learned over the 4 years I've been posting in this forum is we ALL occasionally say something that comes out wrong or not how we intended.  It happens to all of us.  I know you feel horrible but it's not the end of the world.  My suggestion is this....

1.  Apologize for the misunderstanding (which you have already graciously done)
2.  Get back here and keep posting!!!

A News Junkie - please know I was just reading a website dedicated to the Do No Harm concept? Obviously our hearts traveled to the same place tonight. Thank you for that.

I can't speak for Muffy but I surely appreciated your support and concern today and I hope you will stay to talk it out with Muffy. I know she's always been a Do No Harm kind of moderator and good person.

ANJ - We all unintentially put our foot in our mouths at times.  Sometimes our humor is off and no one gets it.  I know I have done it too and I have had it happened to me.

Right here in this very room, I got mad and grabbed everyones marbles and went home.      But in my case, it was all me.  I was just having a bad day.

I am sure neither Muffy or JSM will hold an innocent joke against you.  We are all human and make mistakes and from what I have seen here at SM......everyone is very forgiving.

Please don't be so hard on yourself.

(((hugs)))

Dang, NewsJunkie! I'm not Muffy or JSM, but I accept that heartfelt apology and would give you a hug to boot!

I know Muffy will/does as well. She's that kind of bee.    I'm sure JSM will/does too. Sometimes words don't transcribe as well when they're written, and sometimes things just come out wrongly. A review of Musings alone will tell you that I've begged forgiveness more than once for that very reason. You've done what you need to do and wanted to do to straighten it out. Klaas is right, just come on back and post on. You would be terribly missed and trust me, everybody is in your shoes at one time or another. Just keep on walking in them because you'll break them in and be comfortable again in no time.

Hi CBB, I went to see my Mom today, then helped my Dad at his place and came home and it was HOT, so I turned on the air.  Well, so far, so good, water is not coming down in my room.  But I figure it must be going somewhere!!!  So I will get up in the morning, put on my best outfit, put my broom in plan site, program my phone for the fire department and hope for the best!!!!

AZsunny,

I'm so sorry to hear about your fur-baby. *Hugs*  My 8 year old Old English Sheepdog was just recently diagnosed with bone cancer.  We aren't able to amputate and do chemo due to her large size.  The veterinary oncologist told us our only option was pain managment and radiation therapy to slow the cancer's progression.  She's happy and like herself (with a slight limp) and we are taking it one day at a time.  It is awful when these things happen to our pets.  They are important members of the family.  I wanted to let you know that there is a monkey who is going through the same thing.

Thanks Lisa, "hyper" Piper is lucky thus far as he doesn't appear in any pain.  I hope that continues.  It is so hard to think of losing our furry babies. This was a dog that was totally devoted to my husband.  I lost my husband last August, and so I know he is up there waiting to greet Piper with open arms and tons of tummy rubs.

I hope your baby gets through this with minimum pain.  We do what we can to keep them without pain and make sure they know they are loved double time.
