Yes, it is a slow night.

Hi Art.

Gee now I'm bored...

Anyone for round 2.

HI San. Yeah, I'm up for round 2
Never fear, another idiot will find their way here soon enough

oh we might have a small wait, I see they are praying for our "misguided" souls tonight

Yes, I saw that. Now isn't that some scarey shite?

I can't take a round 2 tonight. Round 1 did me in. Good night, pleasant dreams. Tomorrow I go to Nashville to the outlet mall shopping. Today I cleaned out my closets. Needs clothes now. Husband will be beside himself when I tell him in the morning we are going shopping.

Blue Moon - I hope the trip turns out to be a fun one, I'd love to go shopping with my hubby so tell him I'm so jealous

This too shall pass, we treasure you here, ok? Life is good.......

Oh Nonesy, I think of you often and remember Rick and your children in my prayers. Love you, chickie!!!

HUGS back Bearly and thank you! I looked at a few photos of Rick at son's senior dance, before I hit the hay last night. All the music made me a bit more emotional but at least I had a keeper right?

We'll have to have a disco night, a hip-hop night, R&B.........maybe we make Sat night a revolving music and party night on musings? Which would you pick as your favorite type of music?

Just between us...I was a disco head and loved to dance the night away, never sat down.

Nonesy, as painful as it was, I have always been grateful that you, Rick, Little None, and your son shared Rick's life and passing to his eternal home with us. I will be forever in your debt for having done that. I felt like I was there holding your hands, grieving the setbacks, cheering for the good days, and living in the moment. It has forever changed my life and who and what is important to me or gets a pass. I will always say yes to a friend and no to things, it may be my last memory of them.

Your family and their wonderful attitude has gotten me through many a hard day. For that, I thank you.

Okay, which monkeys are old enough to remember this one:

http://www.youtube.com/v/XHsQpTbQ9Uo&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0xcc2550&color2=0xe87a9f&border=1

I remember. I was into my Pete Seeger protest mode at the time (at nine or ten years old) and concluded this game taught children the wrong values. Same reason I resisted getting a Barbie. I knew womens's breasts were really round and not shaped like pointed cones. However... in my old age, I love making all sorts of Barbie clothes and I also make soft-sculpture dolls (Cabbage Patch size) and ponies and bears. I love making clothes for Cabbage Patch, too.

At the time of Charles and Diana's wedding (1981?), my niece was really into her Barbies so I duplicated Diana's wedding gown and train and veil for her Barbie. Wish I'd taken a picture of that one. Here's a picture of some of the things I used to make:

Wow!! They are lovely!!

I always loved the scruffy guy in Mystery Date. I recently bought the keychain just to see him again.

Lucinda ~ Why not start a thread about forensic firefighting in the monkey lounge? You could start with background about them, and then post your experience as you go through training and graduation?

cos people think im full of shyte. Im not tho. I never wanted to get into forensics this way, especially arson forensics, but the local town here are wanting to support me. Muffy, I can give you phone number of the head here, and he can tell you. I just always think, cos my whole life is (actually has been) full on drama, and not here, but how much shit can a person go thru? Without pple thinking its all crap? I can give you my specialist number, I can give you links to joshies suicide, brians murder, I can post everything here, but then my dad might find me, and he wants to kill me, actually slight exaggeration, he wants me to disappear. How can any of you understand that? drama Lucinda, but every word i post here is swear to god truth, and I can prove everything. I am not well, but I am also hiding from a father, I love with all my heart, but hate with my soul. Imagine that. Any mod can email me at beadsinthewind at hotmail. I can show you proof, and give you a phone number to call about my arson forensics. I dont lie, I do, however, have a shitty life, and losing Joshie after watching his brother Brians murder get injustice, something we never expected, how the fluck do you all think I feel? Plus being sick with scleroderma which has flared right up. I cant eat, I cant swallow solid food, my heart is in trouble, my lungs have scar tissue, then, I am expected to be normal? Without being half a nut case? Im fine, but in a month, I have been to hell and back, still coming back from hell. I dont need a special thread, I just need all you monkeys to believe in me.

Lucinda ~ I am moving this out of Caylee's thread because you are off topic. I asked you to post anything further about your new job in musings or to open a new thread. I gave you a choice.

Mytime your Hubby is a Golfer ..
Does he have special socks?

NO, no special socks!!

Yes GE - he did win today and he always splits his winnings with me!! I have no idea why and I never question it.

If you share your winnings, there will be more. If you are selfish with your winnings, it won't happen again...

Cool !!!! So when is the shopping Trip?

We should vote on the coolest places to shop and then have a monkey shopping weekend there.

The only problem with that idea is there will be tons of talking and laughter and..........................no shopping!!!

Hi CBB have missd you. It's good to see you here tonight.

GE..................... I've been here!

It took ALL of us to circle the wagons................

I happened to be on a "date" and once the banning of the shrew took place, I picked up where I left off, and am just now getting home.

To quote John, "Damn, maybe I ought to get on there and run amuk if it'll get me so much of your attention!"

Hi Monkeys,
Could someone tell me how to make some of my words in a post bigger.
I have tried the font thingy but it is not working for me or I'm not doing it right. I'm doing pretty good with all the other stuff.
TIA

I posted this in the computer section too. If it isn't suppose to be here, Klass will you delete it for me and my apologies in advance. Smile

Type your words and then highlight and click font size.

example:

Hello

you will see bracketsize=10ptclosebracket Hello bracket/sizeclosebracket

Change 10 pt to a larger #, like 14. Then post. You can also bold and change the color while changing the size.
