Paulus defending another drug dealer...don't hold me to it...because I'm not that good with the translations, but I think the one he made the argument for was set free, maybe just until the verdict?  But if you read the whole thing it seems that the prosecutor argued that the man was indeed selling drugs.  The accused (Windster) also claimed that his statement was changed by police.

More or less. It is said that the judge listened to the lawyers Van der Sloot and Foy and that he/she ordered to release Windster. (Not the other two guys, father Rolando and son Diogenes Statie.) According to the son, his father had nothing to do with selling drugs. Windster is also denying; he was just sitting in the neighboorhood where drugs were sold.

Toevallig ken ik mensen uit de woonplaats van Marlies (Leusden). Enkele van mijn vrienden kenden haar, dus zodoende leerde ik haar ook een beetje kennen. Maar ik kende haar niet zo lang, net een krappe maand....

Ik heb altijd het gevoel dat dat amre meisje er niet meer is, en dat het geheim (kan) ligt bij Paulus, rechter croes, de hogere kring eigenlijk. Ik hou niet van een samenswering. En al helemaal niet in deze vorm. Ook probeer ik al een hele tijd veel dingen los te halen bij de PVV. Want er zit daar ook een link dat te maken heeftmet deze zaak.
Ik volg deze zaak al helemaal vanaf het begin.

En toen ik het nieuws zag van Marlies werd ik er best pissig van ( als ik het zo mag zeggen) Ryan weet, denk ik,  ook wel wat van, altijd wel gedacht dat ryan pieters (zo heet ie geloof ik) een connectie heeft richting Joran. Het is allemaal te toevallig.

Als ik enige dingen heb losgemaakt bij je , nu ik hier zomaar opduik, was dat nooit mijn bedoeling geweest.

Ik weet zeker dat er geen verband is tussen de zaak NH en die van Marlies. De achtergrond is heel verschillend en gelukkig ook de houding van de autoriteiten. Wij zijn echt heel erg tevreden over het werk van de politie en de overheid. Vanzelfsprekend zijn er fouten gemaakt maar die maak ik ook in mijn werk. Dat hoort er nu eenmaal bij.

Polygraphs are not an accepted practice under Aruban law - it would all be inadmissable anyway.

Not to mention the stance - again pointed out earlier - similar to what the Judge took after Joran's confession to Patrick.

He's told so many lies - why would the court now consider this as "the truth"?

I gave up on "LEGAL" justice in a court of law about 2 years ago. Having the world 100% convinced he is guilty along with the cover-up exposed is about all we can hope for. -JMO
