Natalee Case Discussion #818 4/30/09 - 5/17/09

I can't see the Kalpoes taking the stand.
I really think that they expected an offer of a settlement from Dr. Phil.
How many times have cases such as these been settled for a sum of money because the other side doesn't want to go to court ? It has been the Kalpoes who have been tardy and full of excuses as to why they haven't provided their discovery documents. If they had the goods on any one, why delay ? If I was the plantiff in a case I would want the money so I could get on with life ( and spend the money, lol ).
We did go through their filing several times and its been YEARS since they were asked to provide the discovery documents, why haven't they even done that? Because nothing they can do or say or produce makes the Kalpoes look good.

Thank you TxMom.  I did, the usual traditional stuff but heard from all kids and spent time with my own mother.  Nothing elaborate but just the kind of Mother's Day I like.

Boys don't describe stitching details.  And no one can see navy blue in the dark.  So did Joran see these things under bright lights?

I was just reading thru today's posts and I can't quite figure out what you mean by the stitching detail...Was this some part of his testimony?

And, of course, IMO, Anita was a crucial part of the cover-up. When she arrived home that day, her "bad boys" had finally gotten in over their heads. Finally caught. And she was prepared to cover for her "bad boys". She has done it often before.

I don't recall if that was in his PV statement but Natalee's mother does mention that those details were provided and I believe it was in her direct discussion with the Sloots.  Anita claimed to have heard that detail from Joran but I have never thought so.

I'm glad your's was good Anna!  I called my mom first thing this morning, I'd hoped to travel to see her and my grandmother but that didn't work out.  I'll go in a few weeks hopefully!  I had a nice day too.

NEVER HAVE BEEN,NEVER WILL BE..A post such as that,On Natalee's thread,as well as on mother's day,was SICK in my opinion.Other's can feel how they want..I found it very disturbing to say the least..JMOO.Fired up?The only thing that got fired up was the foundation to your character...JMOO

I gave my book about Nat to friends. I am ready to reread and study I guess. We went to the bookstore this weekend but the only books were in tiny print and paperback. I can no longer read with tiny print.

My words were not clear, but I'm glad you understood what I meant.  I appreciate that.  The posts prior were puzzling from ohcanada.   Now, in caps (?) and pro monkeys.....to me, it's questionable.  jmho

There will also be references to that here in the archives as Jug Twitty also spoke of his shock at the statements made.  It became a source of contention for their detractors to say that they should not have been discussing such personal things about Natalee on national TV but she was missing!  And to this day has never been found or heard from so I think they were fully justified in expressing their concerns at hearing Natalee's underwear described as to stitching, color, etc.
