Watching House hunter's internatinal on HGTV and the couple is looking to purchase a place in Curacao.....

The couple was touring a house outside of the capital!One of the bedrooms for the kids was sorta like a private room like Joran's..The parents said,"Maybe a little to private."The real estate agent said,"You may never see them again!"..That's the truth.If that couple had TexasMom as there real estate agent i think they'd be rethinking their move!

I'd just drive them by a few of the places I saw back in '99!

Hello, my friends.  I hardly know where to begin and I hesitate to ask what's new.  Anyway...what's new?   

AZLady...the only "big" things I can think of off hand are the recent ruling in the K2 vs Dr. Phil case, and Natalee being included in the unsolved crime area of the Crime museum in Washington D. C.

If you didn't know about those, there are front page stories on both.

he isn't doing the civil case anymore for Beth.

Holloway teaches travel safety

Near the fourth anniversary of the disappearance of her daughter, Beth Holloway will come to Taylor to share her insight into taking care when traveling overseas in a presentation at Taylor High School.

Natalee Holloway disappeared on a senior trip to Aruba May 30, 2005 just after graduating high school. The search for the American teenager was widely broadcast by the media, and the event changed Beth Holloway’s life.
Before losing her daughter, Beth Holloway “lived a quiet life” as a speech pathologist, but after NBC, ABC, CNN, FOX and a variety of other news networks picked up the story, she has become one of the world’s most captivating personalities.

Holloway continues to search for answers to what happened to her daughter and to educate the public about the dangers of traveling overseas. She has published a biography of her story called “Loving Natalee,” and holds travel education seminars across the country.

What students and parents may find the scariest part of the story is the fact that the U.S. government can do little outside the boundaries of their own country, no matter the cause.

“When you’re in a foreign country, you think the U.S. is behind you, but they’re limited to what they can do,” said Barbara Leschber, one of the sponsors for the Holloway program. “They have to be invited to the country to come in. The Arubian government had to invite the FBI to come in. Foreign countries have a lot of different rules.”


Holloway is coming to Taylor courtesy of the Taylor High School Business Professionals of America, and career and technology teachers Leschber and Sue Lawson. The club will pull from their own gathered funds to purchase Holloway’s airline ticket from Birmingham, Ala. and pay for other travel expenses.

“Hopefully our students will get out of town once or twice in their lifetime,” Leschber said. “And we want to keep them informed. We take a lot of things for granted.”

The presentation will be held at 8:35 a.m. in the THS auditorium. While seating is limited, as the student body will be the primary target for the presentation, the event is open to the public.

Flash photography is not allowed during the presentation, but is allowed before and after.
