 My almost 20 year old son has been on the organ donor waiting list since he was born..He was told by his nephrologist recently that he is O- blood and his chances of them finding a compatible donor are slim to none due to his blood type,something I was never told before by his doctor.. IF an organ becomes available before he is in dire need of it and his doctor declines said organ for him,does he go back to the bottom of the list? He is doing ok for now,but does not mean next week,month,year he will not need it,so am concerned with what the doctor said about being so difficult to find a compatible donor. I will check back later this morning for replies, I am exhausted,spent time with son today and he broke the news to me so we talked and cried together...It has been a hard day and I need a good sleep. Any information on how the process works would be great,the doctor never explained that to us either.

Thank you Muffy.  One of my younger sisters lived the first 4 years of her life on dialisis in a childrens hospital due to being born without kidneys.  She received her kidney from a young man who parished in a car accident.  The waiting and not knowing are the hardest part of this, and that is just the first hurdle in this journey.  She has now lived way past what was expected, and is 12, but limited on what she can and can not do.
Searching my prayers do go out to you and your family, and will continue even after a donor has been found.

Well, see, I sorta wear my heart on my sleave, too. One of our sons inherited my disability to conceal my feelings...so I totally get where you're coming from. And it's not like I haven't snarked at someone lately (had to spend all yesterday making up to DH for a snarky comment I made).

We're good, and glad to have you back! Good luck with the doctor. Do you have the same socialized health care that Canada and Great Britain have? (crossing fingers, hoping the answer is no!)

I will be OK soon.  I dont mean to upset people, but I lately do, so I would even accept a month ban, cos I know I need time out.  If you can organise that, on my request, I might get myself together by then.  Im sorry.  Going mental, and all bad demons coming back to me.  Can you give me a month ban, I will still read in here, but by then, I might get my head together.  Love Luci.

Klaasend ~ I was over in the Adji thread and I beleive that the troll from Saturday was in there and Dolce left a response to them to "GET OUT OF THIS THREAD".   Now that you've removed the original post from the troll, Dolce's post seems out of place and kind of uninviting.  Maybe it would be OK w/her if you delete it.  Check it out & you'll see what I mean.  TIA, Lovinlife
