Oh noooo,  I lost my apetite for Banannas a while ago.  They get very soggy when wet.   

That's because they get soft when they've been around too long...............
 

But then they're perfect for whipping up into a wonderful dessert!   

 

Bananas Foster???

Oh, MM, that's a good idea.  Maybe you should try a foster banana, sorta like a surrogate.

 

Why Bearly! I was thinking of Banana Cream Pie!

That won't help her, she already mentioned she did not want anything that was crusty...

OMG!!!   

 

OK, you win! I give! Uncle!! I'm skeeered to keep trying to one up you!!!     

Oh she'll get her just desserts.

Funny story for Bearly:

My mom & dad were poor as church mice when they got married 53 years ago and had a small church wedding with family and a few friends.  They had a small reception at the church afterward with just cake & punch.  The one gift my mom still has is the knife that they used to carve the wedding cake.  She uses it to dig out dandelions!  I always tell her, "mom, you should put that up and keep it nice so you have something to remember your wedding day".  She insists that it is the absolute best thing to dig out dandelions and refuses to quit using it.  Every time she gets it out to work in the flower beds, she always holds it close to her and reminds me that that is the knife she & my dad cut their wedding cake with.  They made it to 50 years and my dad passed a few months later.  I suppose some day I'll inherit the cake knife and use it to dig out my dandelions and tell my son the story of where it came from!
