Speaking of singing... Commodores will be in Haines city fl for thunder on the ridge. It is free for 4th of July.. Aaron Tippin was there last year and BlackHawk the year before.I can not wait.
Ohhhh the Commodores! That sounds like so much fun!  July 4th will be here before we know it.  How's your son doing, Searching?  You all are in my prayers. Lovinlife

Thank you lovin. He is hanging in there.. still kind of given up hope..amazing how I spend his lifetime keeping hope alive and in a 20 minute visit a doctor can destroy it... uggg anyhow, thank you so much,it is appreciated.

That sounds good.  I was thinking of Mac & cheese with hot dogs(hubs favorite) and fried potatoes.

When I was first married way back when, I couldn't cook many things. We lived on BLT's the first year of our marriage.

Luckily hubs went to Johnson and Whales to get his degree as a Chef...although he does not use that degree nor has a business remotely close to it, it does make for some delish dinners, lunches, and breakfasts....and a bigger wasteline!

Which is really good for him since I could not cook if my life depended on it!  I do not think he could live on BLT's as he does not like the LT part at all!

The first meal my 18 yo Mom  ever cooked for my Dad after they were married was a Spam casserole.  My Dad said it was all he could do to sit down and eat it and tell her how good it was because he didn't want to hurt her feelings.  He had just been discharged from the Army after serving in Korea, and I guess he had a pretty steady diet of Spam (breakfast, lunch and dinner)  and that wasn't what he was looking forward to having after he got out.

That is so sweet. At least they can look back on it now and have a laugh.

I am not sharing that my hubs or I would have to add onions to his. The man loves onions with everything.

I know what Kermit's been up to!!! Follow this link and watch the video. It stars one of Kermit's pals -- the guy has a funny accent but, oh well. Well, they did this video together. They must be pals... right?
