We don't have a monkey drowning in facts and running for the hills!!! Ok sorry i am so confused and I just started, (this is not a good sign!). It all starts with that Richard guy and goes down hill I think. What am mess! Richard marries 2 women and has 5 children, those wifes get remarried and have children?

Bill lawless gets married 3 times and has 7 children?  My god where does it end? I am afraid these people are going to end up being distants cousins to all of us!

Ok that is what I have.  Yes, with the mutliple marriages, alias, changes of last name spellings  and diappearing it does get very complicated.

I am pulling birth, death and marriages certificates from ancestry.

I just got back , trying to figure out how to make this easy for everyone to get familiar with the basic people.  so decided I would just make a basic family group sheet for them.  once they all get familar with that then they will be able to see what we are doing and who is who when we post the detail. 

are you using family tree maker northern?

I am also on ancestry, but I am also all over the net and I have a couple of databases of my own I use.

well believe it or not I have seen a couple of names pop up of people I know who they are LOL  now that was a real HMMMM moment

This is great!  Just like Ancestry trees.  You can also put alias and criminals charges in the notes.

are you using family tree maker northern?

I use Legacy 7.0  I used to use family tree maker but it had limitations that would not allow the mulitple adopitons and tracing for birth and adoptive families easily.

yes, I will work on putting everything in them later, right now I will do the basic line of james h's kids, this way those not familiar can see this and understand it.  then I will do one for each kid with all the detail.  tonight I will just do that one, tomorrow I will do some of the kids like richard birdette lawless, I think his kids are the real mess here.  then I will start adding the arrests and the things that match up where they go or whatever that might match the SO's families. 

tonight though I want to go through the people you are missing and get them to you so you can add to your reports.  If you want to do the reports I will do the family group sheets and add the criminals and sex offenders and the "routes" they move etc.  I can do maps and timelines.

That sounds great.  I will run reports when I have all you additional info and at the end can run  the charts as  pdf with the whole clan

Ok you have officially adopted the Agnes married James line     

I can dump the reports when ever you guys want so it is not a big deal.  Finding the facts is what takes time.
