Subject: Timothy Lawless
The following website has been doing quite a bit of research on Timothy Lawless arrest and looking for a connection to the M Huckaby case. A question was possed and I thought the best way to solve the mystery was simply to email you and ask you. Is there a reason you have not reported a story on Timothy Lawless ?
“I too spent a lot of time on Timothy Lawless. It is odd that given the grave nature of his alleged offense, that the Sacramento Bee and Folsom Telegraph did not provide an article. Also Lawless, a former marine, IT guy who worked in major corporations, married to a realtor from a high class firm, on a noted softball team in Folsom, called Gayle Mfg. team, is not a marginal person, so some news coverage would have been expected.”

As far as we know, and also from what the cops and jail tell us, Timothy Lawless is not related to Melissa Huckaby. That’s why there’s no story. If we found out they were related, we would report on it. But just because someone has the same last name as her grandparents and is charged with a grave crime isn’t enough of a link.
(I emailed back and asked if she would mind me posting her response):
No prob. I appreciate that you’ll let me know if someone finds something! Our sources may not know — or may not be telling the truth. Thanks!

Thanks for posting that. Jenn Wadsworth and I have communicated back and forth as well.
This is typical of local media.
B NOW THIS IS WHY NOTHING IS GOING ON IN THE CANTU CASE PUBLICALLY !!!! (AN EMAIL FROM A JOURNALIST FRIEND)“Ladies: Just one comment on the email exchange below: I can’t agree with J on her comment about the judge’s gag order primarily because it includes “potential witnesses”. As K explained it to me that means if we as journalist would try to interview a neighbor, whistle blower, just an ordinary citizen and they should talk to us, those individuals would be at risk for contempt of court charges even if they had not been noticed that they were potential witnesses.
This vague, all encompassing language enables any other charges past, present or future that might be brought against Melissa Huckaby and/or her extended family or “friends” who might also be culpable to be hidden from the public because of the Judge’s gag order.
It is my belief that the more information you get out to the public the greater the liklihood the truth will surface and the less likely the perps was stay hidden…………..Just a thought………..V.”
This is an email from a friend who is an attorney living near Tracy, but is no longer practicing. She comes from a legal angle. “Thanks for posting it. I don’t mind. You can post all or some of it, if you feel like it, on Blinkoncrime, or on Scaredmonkeys discussion board re: Sandra Cantu — two threads there, the link between Huckaby and T. Lawless’ and a general link or on Insession discussion forum. Websleuths is doing a poor job in that they moderate out a lot of stuff re: alternative theories.”
It may be the FBI is behind or participating in the Lawless arrest, especially if it involves their jurisdiction: internet child porn, trafficking minors across state lines, or a kidnap or murder of am minor. The FBI can of course issue it's own warrants for arrest. In some California cases, the local authorities do an arrest for child porn and then the U.S. attorney takes over the case. California State penalties for possession of child porn are moderate compared to federal penalties.
The FBI investigated the church in Washington so someone at the church must be involved with Melissa Huckaby, or someone there is involved with another suspect in the Huckaby case, or there is something in Huckaby’s background about being abused in the context of that church or someone connected to it.
Of course, if a church is involved in child abuse, then the door opens for investigation of cultic, ritual or Satanic aspects of the case. In the Catholic abuse cases, there was a cultic aspect ranging from outright Satanic stuff to priests telling altar boys that they had to shut up and put up or they would go to hell, etc. Also, there is speculation that Huckaby may have used church type items — a crucifix?– in regard to Cantu or other children or herself. There is also speculation that Cantu is an abuse victim herself, and the abuse may involved some religious ideas or persons.
There are a lot of cultic cases where people beat the demons out of
someone and feel they must do so and are justified, or must do so
to save themselves. There are some cultic cases where a person
is told they have a demon and are engaged in molestation or have
urges to do so, and it is not true. I personally dislike all this
demon type stuff, but it is going on, even in mainstream religions.
I think the defense attorney’s dropping his request for disinterment
and a second autopsy shows that the defense will not be agressive
in the early stages of this case. Because there will be no
second autopsy, who knows what could have been detected? Decomposition is already set in where Cantu is located — a mausoleum. Although the medical examiner could have retained specimens for the defense to analyze, that act would not compare to having the entire body available. The D.A. should have offered to stipulate to a second autopsy or at least freezing the body until the defense motion for the second autopsy could be heard. The defense motion was filed AFTER the body was taken out of the freezer to the funeral home. So decomposition and embalming occurred marring potential scientific review. Essentially, the DA’s allowing the evidence out of the freezer destroyed a big opportunity for a second medical
forensic review of the case.
Now the DA’s opposition to the motion to disinter has been sealed sua sponte by the judge without a hearing or opportunity
for the media to file a request to unseal.”
ANOTHER EMAIL AND WORDS OF WISDOM FROM A FRIEND LIVING NEAR TRACY:“It is a glaring coincidence at least that T. Lawless and Huckaby, face
similar charges, at the same essential time, and share a last name.
As of now, the efforts on Blink site have resulted in finding out that the Lawless family, has several sex offenders in its ranks, and is very connected to religion. Of course, one can say if any family is traced enough these types of connections or similar ones can occur. Soon, some report will be done by the Blink researchers which lays out all the Lawless Huckaby family history. Given that shrinks say molestation tends to be a multigenerational phenomena, this type of
data could shed light onthe Cantu case.
Whether or not a familial connection exists between Melissa Huckaby and Timothy Lawless — who knows.
Because Folsom, where T. Lawless lives is only a one hour drive to Tracy, and because Huckaby described herself on her website as a “party organizer”, and she appeared to have several male friends in Tracy, it is possible that this group of people knew each other. Note, no adult female friend of Huckaby in Tracy has surfaced that I know of.
What is really driving people crazy in this Tracy case is that no one
really believes that Melissa Huckaby acted alone. People also do not
believe the police who say she acted alone because, 1) they did not
put out an Amber alert that night, and 2) they did not put out bloodhounds that night. My God– what did they think Sandra Cantu did — hop on a bike and go to a bar? 3) the young cop handling the matter Cogburn failed to make a detention of Huckaby when she took the first girl and apparently drugged her in January 09.
Also the Tracy 60, covered by the Tracy Press on April 6 (no longer online, don’t have the article but has been quoted) indicated that Cogburn said that he knew of 50 or 60 people in Tracy currently using child porn and he didn’t have enough evidence to arrest them. There have been three big arrests for child abuse, porn, including the Tracy teen case in the last few months in Tracy. The feds ran Operation Valley Predator last year in the Central Valley and Tracy police participated. This flushed out some, I guess, but it may have made others more careful, and use unusual methods of procurements, photography, etc. such as enlisting Huckaby whom no one suspected of anything.”
