Helen Lawless, 77, of Kokomo, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Friday, April 17, 2009, at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis

Mrs. Lawless was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1152, both in Kokomo.

She was born March 23, 1932, in Kokomo to Benjamin H. and Ethel Brock Ridenour. She married Richard Lawless, who survives.

Additional survivors include six sons, Michael T. Lawless, of Huntington, Stephan R. Lawless, James W. Lawless, Van P. Lawless, Jeffrey J. (Linda) Lawless and Daniel P. (Marie) Lawless; two daughters, Donna C. (Richard) Davis and Eireen K. (Scott) Gunning; 25 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchilren.

Calling is Wednesday, April 22, 2009, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Sunset Memory Garden, 2097 W. Alto Rd., Kokomo. A service will be held Thursday, April 23, 2009, at 1 p.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1229 W. Washington St., Kokomo. Rev. Ted Dudzinski will officiate. Burial will be at Kokomo Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial gifts may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kokomo.

This morning someone contacted me and said it is being said here that gary the poet is the lost gary d lawless, father of timothy john lawless arrested in sacr amento calif, for the 10 sex counts.  I personally don't know of anyone saying that, have they?

I have not really looked at that line yet, as I have not had time, but I read every post on this thread so I don't remember seeing where anyone has come to that conclusion other than maybe "wondering" or "guessing" that it might be a "possibility" so they are checking it.  Has anyone "confirmed" this?  I would have thought if they had they would have blasted that info and documentation all over this thread. 

I think sometimes people read a couple of posts, and rather than realize we are just tossing out anybody and everybody out here so we can look for documentation to prove these people are connected, they read into this something we are not saying.  There are so many names that are the same with the right ages that we can't just guess at who connects, we have to take each name and start documenting who they are.  We do this by census records, marriage records, arrest records, deeds, business records, military records, addresses, phone numbers, death records, old news articles etc.  We can make an educated guess as to who we THINK might connect and then start researching that person, but until we can document that person to actually be related or connected through marriage or businesses etc, then we are not sure who connects to the lawless line of CLL.  I personally have not connected any sex offenders, to any of CLL family through documents.  I have not looked at the Gary the poet line to try to document any of that line, but someone else might have, but I have not seen anyone say they have connected him.  I have personally connected a couple of arrests for fraud and assault to the CLL cousin and nephew, I have documented that.  I have documented many arrests in the timothy lawless 10 sex counts family.  So far we still have his father as LOST.  or at least I do, and I am sure if anyone was sure of who he is they would have posted it here? 

ok just trying to clear things up before they get rumored all over the net that gary the poet is lost gary lawless, father of timothy.  someone on the net might be working on this and figured things out we are not aware of here, but as far as I know, no one here has confirmed than nor has anyone here confirmed the sex offenders are tied to the CLL family line.  I personally think richard ray lawless child rapist very well could be, but I haven't searched his line to see yet.

Helen Lawless, 77, Kokomo, passed away Friday, April 17, 2009, at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis. She was born March 23, 1932, in Kokomo, to Benjamin H. and Ethel (Brock) Ridenour. She married Richard Lawless, and he survives.

She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 1152. She was a loving and devoted mother, wife, grandmother, and aunt. She will be greatly missed, especially by her very beloved dog, Snuffles.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by six sons, Michael T. Lawless, Stephan R. Lawless, James W. Lawless, Van P. Lawless, Jeffrey J. (Linda) Lawless, and Daniel P. (Marie) Lawless; two daughters, Donna C. (Richard) Davis, and Eireen K. (Scott) Gunning; twenty-five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two nieces, Patricia J. (Chester) McDaniel, and Mary Helen (Thomas) Lott; one nephew, John P. (Gloria) Ridenour; and four great-nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, John V. Moore, and Joseph L. Moore; infant son, Benjamin Moore; and one brother, John Ridenour.

If anyone sees mistakes on these, let me know. I get tired and sometimes put the wrong thing somewhere, but I am trying to be VERY CAREFUL.

I have more info to add to all of these, but I want to get the basics up so everyone can understand who is who.
