Scubajab is now saying that there was a tire blow-out at the Curacao airport yesterday. Laughing  Man, they just can't leave well enough alone.

Just admit that the judges don't want to get near this case with a ten-foot pole as long as the Dutch investigation is going on.

Do I remember correctly that there were problems getting the past judges to the island too? Back when we WANTED them to come and for some reason they missed planes and stuff? Ya'll remember that?

I remember it happened at least once before, and it was a mechanical problem then too ...

Hi Msmarple!! Glad I'm not the only one to remember that Laughing

C&C closing at 12:30 am on Mondays- Wonder how that impacts the timeline?

I am very sure this is wrong,  CnCs closed at 1:00.

Ruth McVay: (to question what time did she think Natalee left) From other people talking and the time that the club closed, around 1 a.m.

Virginia Page: That night was more hectic than others was because it closed at 1 a.m. There was sort of a mass exodus out of the place. Everyone left all at once.

Katherine Weatherly:(Had Katherine already left prior to Natalee?) Well, Carlos and Charlie`s closed at 1:00 o`clock, and when it closed, everyone was getting in taxis at the same time and it was really chaotic.

http://www.scrux.com/natalee/studentquotes.htm

Nancy Watson's 302:
Watson and Bruce Rawls left Carlos and Charlies when it closed at approximately 1:00 am.

http://scrux.com/discuss/viewtopic.php?p=6838

Alana Jordan
June 12th, 2005 3:21 pm: (Responding to the question, "What time did you leave the club?") It closed at about 1, 1:30 and we left around then. A couple of my friends and I went to another club for a minute to make suer that no one went there and were being left behind.

http://scrux.com/natalee/alanapostings.htm

Interviewer:  So, what time do you think you stepped foot out of Carlos 'n Charlie's?

Joran van der Sloot:  Probably, yes probably one a.m.

http://scrux.com/natalee/jorangreta.htm

She left 10 minutes before closing at 1 a.m., said the restaurant's master of ceremonies Jose Hernandez, 38. "Nothing was out of the ordinary."

So we know now that Joran didn't go to school that Monday, May 30th.
Satish didn't go to school that Monday either.
Deepak didn't have to go to work until that afternoon that day of May 30th.
Paulus didn't go to work May 30th.

bastards

I believe that Deepak did not go to work on Monday.  His boss is lying.  What is her name again I think it might be Angelina.  She is like a sister.  You do the math and tell me if she is lying for Deepak.

My Two agencies have not sold any Aruba vacations since shortly after Natalee went missing! I think it will stay that way as we discourage any Aruba travel!

JVDS: NOT IN SCHOOL MONDAY 5/30/05

This per HT family recent meeting and Q&A.

So, likely then jvds in school on Tuesday 5/31 (after HT family meets him and pvds at sloot house) for this account to have happened:

According to another source close to the case, Robert Werner, headmaster of the International School of Aruba, where Joran attended classes, also said that Paulus van der Sloot admitted to him his son confessed that Natalee died accidentally in a fall on a beach.

The source revealed: "Paulus told the headmaster that Joran and Natalee had been taking drugs and decided to go for a swim. As they played in and around the water, Natalee fell, hit her head on a rock and drowned. In a drug and alcohol-induced panic, Joran felt he had no other choice but to dispose of Natalee's body in the sea."

And hasn't Werner stated, to Jug's friends, that jvds WAS in school on Monday, and said to Paulus as reminder that jvds had arrived to school late?

Quote from: "klaasend"
From Joran's June 14, 2005 statement:

My tennis lesson was between the hours of 18.00 pm and 19.00 pm. According to me I was not called by anyone during that time. I had also made no calls myself. Approximately 19.00 pm, I was ready with playing tennis. I showered in the clubhouse. After I had finised showering I got dressed. I do not remember what I put on that day. I was wearing a short trousers and a T-shirt. It looked pretty nice/proper. I also wore slippers. Then I called "Andre". I do not remember his phone number. Andre lives near the Marriot Hotel. We had agreed that we would meet at the Wyndham Hotel at approximately 20.00 pm to play poker. I had then also called Guido. Guido had told me that he had to go to work. He would come later and try to enter the tournament for half time. I had also called my father and asked if I could play poker at the Wyndham Casino. My father gave me permission.

At approximately 19.15 pm I left on foot for the Wyndham Hotel. I was alone. My tennis gear I had left behind the bar at the Raquet club. I had also removed my tennis shoes and left them in the bag behind. I had taken from my tennis bag a pair of slippers and walked away on those. From the clubhouse I walked in the direction of Salinja to the Marriot Hotel. I walked along the same route that Deepak had taken to drop off me and Natalee. At the beach of the Marriot I tried for a little while to

find my shoes. They were nowhere to be found
. I looked for about two minutes. Then I walked over the beach to the Wyndham Hotel. On the way there I saw a lot of people. I did not go to Fisherman's Hut to see if Natalee was still lying there. I at that moment was more worried about the shoes that I had left behind because I was unaware that Natalee had gone missing. At approximately 19.45 pm I arrived at the Aruba Grant Hotel & Casino. I know the time because I was watching at he big watch of the Wyndham Hotel. Via the pool I walked to the casino. I had gone there because I had U.S. 20,- on me. I played at the U.S. 5,- minimum black jack table. I wanted to play there so I could win some money so I that, after the tournament, I could play cash games with Guido. I played for about 15 minutes. At the end of the game I had U.S. 20,- again. In the casino I spoke with a woman that works there. She knows my face and had told me that she had watched me play poker and that she thought I played well/good. She had then told me that it was 20.00 pm. I immediately walked to the Wyndham Hotel & Casino. At the Wyndham Hotel I walked in through the beach entrance and walked to the casino. In the casino I walked directly to the man called "Elvis". Elvis had U.S. 10,- for me. A week earlier I had lent him U.S. 10,-. I had gotten my U.S. 10,- from Elvis and went to register. The fee for registering was U.S. 10,-. I met Andre and his dad at the Casino. Andre and myself stayed inside the casino and walked around until the tournament started. The tournament started at 20.15 pm. I was at a table with ten (10) people. At the beginning of the game everyone had to give their registration receipt to the "Dealer". Thirty (30) minutes later I had lost. I then went to play black jack for about 15 minutes. I had won U.S. 30,-. With the U.S. 30,-

I went back to the poker game to play again. The second time I played poker I was in the game for about 1 hour. After an hour I had gone out. I stayed and waited for Andre because he was also losing. In the meantime I had called Guido. Guido had told me that he was nearly finished. At approximately 22.30, Guido arrived at the Wyndham Casino. Guido and myself went for a circular walk. After that Guido and myself walked to his car. His car was in the parking lot of the Wyndham Hotel. After that we drove to the Aruba Grant so that I could cash in my chips at the cashier. These were the chips that I had won earlier. Because it had turned eight o'clock earlier I had been unable to cash my chips then. Guido and myself played black jack in the Aruba Grant Casino for about 45 minutes. At the Aruba Grant I had won approximately U.S. 50,-. After that, at approximately 23.15 pm Guido and I arrived at the Radison Casino. I went to play poker. I was busy playing poker when I was called by Andre. He asked me where I was. I had told him that I was at the Radison Hotel. He told me he would come by there. Deepak had also asked me where I was. I told him that I was at the Radison Casino. Deepak told me that he would be there as soon as possible. At approximately 01.00 am Deepak came over to me. Andre was there too. I was on a roll. I played for about another hour. At approximately 02.00 am I stopped playing. I had "cashed out" my chips. Deepak wanted to go and play black jack. I didn't know why but he wanted to go to the Wyndham Casino. According to him he had no luck at the Radisson Casino. At approximately 02.30 am, Deepak and myself were walking to his car. He was there in his Honda Civic. The car was parked in the parking lot of the Radisson Hotel. Guido left to take Andre home.

We drove towards the Wyndham Casino. When we were just about to get out of the car, my father called. My father then told me that the police were at my house and that they were looking for a missing girl. I had then told my father that we would be coming to the house. I right away told Deepak that a girl had gone missing. Deepak had said immediately that it must be the girl from last night. I straight away thought of Natalee who I had left behind at the beach. Deepak told me straight away that it would be better if we would say that the three of us dropped of the girl at the Holiday Inn Hotel. We then drove home. At approximately 03.00 am Deepak and myself arrived home in his Honda Civic. When we arrived there we could see no-one was there so I called my dad. My dad said he was driving towards the Wyndham. I then told him that I was home

So, if Joran told his father he would be coming right home...why did everyone drive to the Wyndham looking for them?

Good question. Also, didn't Joran say he left the first casino with US $20....why go back to that same casino to cash in chips?Whats with the 8:00 cash in time?

Sometimes when people send out "bulk" emails to several people I'll get the same message.  What happens is when you FW FW FW jokes and things to many people.  Pretty soon you have 100's of email addresses you are forwarding.  When an email address is deleted and no longer active, and it's on the forward list, you will get that message.

For instance, I get a joke that was forwarded several times then forwarded to me.  In those emails there is one bad email address.  BUT, that same forwarded email gets sent to you 5 times by people you know, resulting in the "undeliverable" message being received 5 or 6 times by you.

Let me try clarifying what I said above.

Someone who forwards emails to you on a regular basis, that has an email group set up with many people on it, has a bad email address in their group.  That is what is causing those "undeliverable" messages you are getting.

Edited to add:  If you read the "undeliverable" message you can probably tell what email address is bad.

Lala's,

Outlook also has a read receipt option that would return these notices for a bad addy, as Klaasend described.   You can check your settings by going to Tools/Options/Receipts to see if you have it set to send you a notice when the email is read.

Not saying this is the problem, but I know when I deleted unread emails of co-workers who no longer were working at the company, I got a load of them, because I had had the setting checked for receive/read receipts.
