So we know the VDS family, is friends with the Arambatzis as they were at Sasha's 16th BD party.  As was JaimeC, Koen, Sander and of course Freddy and Ernesto.  I believe that party was in March 2005.

We all know what they wore, as well.

I do think its good for this case that the Dutch are finally looking into it.  I've been always hopeful for a resolution, but I feel renewed hope now.  We will have justice for Natalee.

I'm not so sure I'm much hopeful with the Dutch at this moment. They can't go back and start over. All they can do is read over the dossier and see if there is anything else they can do that hasn't been done. If not they will close the case or make it a cold case rather.

I was hoping Interpol would sock it to them. Interpol is suppose to get info from FBI that ALE does not have. Wonder how well that's going over with the FBI.

Not Sasha Ridpath, a different Sasha.  I'm sure you've seen the photos but I'll email to you.  Don't want to post her photo in the forum as she was only 16 at the time.

Grande, you've put together an impressive collection.  I'm only about halfway through, but I'll look at it all.  I've wondered if Shango's postings were somehow political statements.  As I read them, I kept coming across fairly obvious references to the political situation in the Caribbean islands.  Liberation seems to be a popular theme recurring throughout the islands, in music and in the Rasta traditions and folklore.  Some of the names like "Babylonians" are used on Jamaica to refer to the police, especially in racial conflicts.  I keep thinking that some of the names we are talking about are also involved in political struggles in the Caribbean, too.  Just speculating.

I think it's hard to separate crime and politics in Aruba.  The carribean is rife with drug running and money laundering, payoffs follow, and there's little oversight of the politics and legal systems of these small countries.  Many of us suspect Natalee was drugged.  So if someone goes down for the crime, he can roll over on whoever sold him the drugs.  He can give names of others he knows who are involved.  Even if he doesn't, since he can't cut a deal, an investigation into the drug aspect would be expected if they know a date-rape drug was used in a murder.  Add the US media to the mix, and you've got some nervous people.  Now add that Posner was implicated because Joran and Natalee met at his casino while Joran was underage AND Posner is running a casino--which he could not do in the US--and it becomes easier to see how people may have decided that Joran had to walk and made sure he did.

Are there divorce records for Ernesto and Rebecca?  I'm curious about this Domestic Violence being another person.

I'm not sure if this is answered yet as I'm behind a few pages --- but as I did post this information several months ago when the document with the charges was first posted --  the domestic violence charges were from another man.  Another 'entertainment director' from another MB nitespot. And the charges were dropped becasue neither of them showed up for theri court date.

Never could find anything about this 'marriage' -- other than the certificate.

I have seen several pictures of Ernesto in drag at different MB events.

To my knowledge Bangbrothers is not at all affiliated with any of the aforementioned.  Some have suggested otherwise.  I have however speculated that PVDS visited the Bangros. HQ while in Miami last year.
That would only be applicable given Joran DID UPLOAD a video on to their servers likely located there at 444 Brickell.  In any event PVDS did go to Miami and most likely in order to either finance his son's defense team or in an attempt to conceal something that would implicate his son.  This all in my opinion ofcourse.

I've always thought the same thing, Grande, about his visit to Miami.  He most likely had to answer to his higher-ups as well.

Not at all forbidden.  I have no idea where she is, she hasn't posted in a while.  Maybe she has personal things to attend to?? I really don't know.
