Mlee   Isee what you mean now . I was too focused on the bad grammar and spelling parts to notice some of the other . I think you got it , it's an act .IMO

I agree with both of you, people will do anything for attention, if it was Misty maybe some of the information is per Ron and she is quoting him....who knows, I know that little interview he did on his site appeared to me to be bs, for one he keep grinding his jaw like he was high...jmo
Meth mouth?

Rose did you watch the video? He had that a--looking grin on his face and then in the end he was plain goofy to me

he should have said nothing at all in my opinion.

Good morning monks    About those quote stacks...It's okay to use quotes, especially if you are referring to someone's post that isn't on the same page etc.  When I've fussed about quote stacks is when we are all on the same page, basically talking about the same thing, it isn't necessary to hit quote, when a reply will do.  I've seen the quote button used on an article at least seven or eight times in succession on the SAME page.  That means quoting the previous 7 quotes too, instead of quoting just  the original post.  Quoting can add clarity, and it can also muddy up a thread if it us used excessively.  Excessive quotes can make it hard to see who said what, esp. for those coming along and reading later.  I don't have any kind of limit on quote stacks.  I just ask that it be reasonable.  It's okay to quote something funny.  But when you quote the next quoter, then next quoter, then then next, you end up with a stack of (and I have counted) over thirteen quotes on the same article all stacked up.   Not quoted seperatrly or in two's or threes.  It's not so nice to other posters. I saw the Rainbow Bridge with a color photo posted and quoted in an mp thread eleven times in a short period.  Why not refer to the "Rainbow Bridge" or give condolences?  I too am an animal lover, but you all need to remember where you are when you post.  And the threads are read and shared by many other then then few you may see signed in at the time.

I think some are making more of the quote stacking then is necessary.  Sometimes reminders are just that.  And the posts that were removed a couple of days ago by me were OT and stacked.  No one is saying you can't have fun and levity.  Just try to keep it brief in mp threads.  Some may get angry and resentful for what is part of my job as a moderator.  I don't like to spoil fun either.  Just try to keep things reasonable.

Muffers...when I was referring to  keeping quote stacking in control..it was from a request quite a while back...nothing recent...And when the request was made by whomever, can't remember which mod...it was a very reasonable request..I have seen whole newspaper articles posted, requoted, requoted many many times over just to have an "I agree" or  "well said" etc....posted after it! If we just snip parts that we want to comment on and refer back to the original quote, picture, that should be easy enough to follow right?  jmo...don't know why anyone would get angry or resentful at you for doing your job as a mod....you do good!

Guess it all revolves around playing closer attention to the board.

But I never knew about the copyrite laws and that we were only allowed to copy one paragraph of an article , plus submit the link.  Even though I have been around for awhile now, this was something new to me, and I hope newcomers are aware of this .

possibly Hispanic.

Heart, Possible = it could be, does not mean it is..  The people who saw him, probably had a visual of him for about 15 to 30 seconds, before he was on the run.. You think they have this composite from a 4 year old?  This is from the adults who saw him running away. And the man is about 6 ft. Tall, but does not mean he isn't 5"11".  If they said he weighed about 250 lbs, does not mean he couldn't weigh 235 lbs. All the description given and a composite equals, The best guess they have from eye witness's.

I sure would like to know how some people can give a description, when they only see the person for a very short time, or see them at a glance.

I have been trying when in diffent stores, looking at someone, turning away and trying to give a description on what I just saw.  You know, I can't even begin to say, the size of his face, whether round, oval or whether his eyebrows were bushy or not.  Whether the eyes were slanted, close together etc.

Even when my son walks into the house, sits down has a coffee, when he leaves, I say, OK, what was he wearing that shouldn't be too hard, heck he was here in front of me for 30 minutes.  I still have have a very hard time to even describe his clothing.

Well mlee, imho, its better than posting someone's pic on the worldwide internet as a possible suspect or comparison.  The culprit could have resembled you or some of your relatives. How would you feel with you or yours pic being compared as the culprit in a crime?  Just saying!

Me too Grama, my mind grabs faces, seldom names.. I saw the grandkids leave for school, the only thing I can guarentee seeing, was three were wearing jeans..  and the little one was wearing walking shorts.. Color huh.. I would have to guess..

Morning Monkeys...running on empty today.  I think the composite resembles Orlando GREATLY.  Thinking the father that ran after the would be abductor probably gave description, yes?   When something bad is happening I think a little photograph is burned into your mind.  It's brief, only a second and I'm not sure how one goes about getting a composite from that!  And by the way, where the heck IS ORLANDO??  Oh my smart smart monkeys...someone needs to find this character STAT.   This is WORRYING ME!  Human trafficking, slave trades, oh man, my mind can't even begin to wrap around that today.

About Rainy=Misty, what about Rainy=Crystal?

I think on my day off I might have to just sit and not move. I'm not even sure I can get up and out the door today.  <lopsided tired monkey grin> Have a beautiful day everyone.

Hello Monkeys, well no word on Haleigh, Im so tired of all the drug players in this case, if they would just lock up all these drug abusers and runners and lowlifes, then they would only have a few people to watch while the rest was in jail! Dont let them back out again, when you get them, keep them and after a few months in the jail they may then sober up eneough if they do have any  info worth anything Ill bet they will be ready to talk and stop playing games!

Good day Monkeys.

Not sure if anyone saw this Regarding Chad Reynolds yet.
Chad Reynolds is the RSO who has been missing. His disappearance came shortly before Haleigh's and he has family in Putnam County.
