Americans are all attempting to cross the border into Canada for the long weekend and ... are creating huge lineups.

 

Hubby and I were waiting for DIL's Dutch American parents to arrive at our home for a barbeque dinner and ... maybe a movie or bowling later.  They live just on the other side of the line ... a normally 30 minute drive tops.  Steaks and teriyaki chicken were all ready for the grill.  However ... we received a call about an hour ago ago from them to inform us that were turning back and going home.  They claimed it would be time to head back home by the time they arrived.  We looked at all this food we prepared and ... decided to invite some friends.  They should be here any minute.

Have a nice long weekend Monkeys.  Stay safe.

I've been to Vancouver a few times -- most beautiful city in North America! I know why everyone wants to get up there!

I did hear on the news that the hotels in Vancouver were all booked this weekend.  Vancouver is a beautiful city.  Lots to do.  There is word famous Stanley park ... gas town ... Capilano canyon ... Grouse ski lift ... a two hour scenic drive along the upper levels to Whistler ...

However ... driving east instead of west ... the Interior of British Columbia is also a destination for Americans on their holiday weekend in both winter and summer.  Weather is so predicable.  In the winter there is snowboarding on the local mounts.  In the summer ... lots of lakes with their related activities ... houseboating ... water skiing ... seadooing ... camping ....

Hey Wreck, if you're still here.......I caught a few minutes of JVM tonight.  It was a rerun of the show "Crimes that changed America" featuring Natalee's story, Elizabeth Smart, etc. 

I don't know why they always interview the RentaHo, but in that interview, she was particularly shrill.  Maybe you saw it the first time around.

Things that popped out to me the last day based on reading wise monkey discussions......
Going back to the night of May 30th and following days before/during the organization of the coverup aruba machine....what happened...
MHO....
paulass in casino with urine...targeting Natalee
C&C setup commissioned by paulass.....executed by j2k pimps ....date rape drug (happened 20 times before)
party at sloots.....(MN DAD..paulass is your perp)
something bad happened...your own father (D to J)
urine hits Natalee with an aluminum bat (viet vet- asst schoolmaster)
Natalee keeps falling until she isn't falling anymore (freddie - knows the truth)
urine says Natalee drowned...wanted to see sharks....rocks videos....shallow grave....lighthouse)
Natalee was hurt/killed at the sloots.....taken to see the sharks (initial disposal attempt..shallow grave...then dumped in ocean but washed up a couple days later) paulass keeping eye on things and discovered Natalee washed up....rock scene.....(machette stolen from fish huts - cage maybe?).. What to do with Natalee's remains now?
fast forward to persistence search......crab cage found with human remains...american traitors.....
aruba completes coverup? Obvious to ME that someone was in the cage that aruba doesn't want exposed...
Need to keep cranking away at the persistence and aruba to find the truth....
We ain't going away...
Suck on That aruba..40 years....
how's that tourism thing going for yous.......

I have changed my suspected scenarios on what happened to Natalee that night, but I've always believed there is something very sinister with paulass, j2k and the pimps.
That island is full of sex perverts that prey on young tourists (especially Americans) along with their own local children. I think it is sick...but those islanders apparently condone/expect that type of behavior and no longer react like normal civilized people should.
Yes, we have sex crimes in American, but we pursue the perps, not cover up and lie for them.....
Just makes me sick to know they have gotten away with this for so long......

Hey Bb! That is just the thing ---- Aruba has NOT "gotten away" with anything. The whole world KNOWS the cretins are guilty AND Aruba has covered it up. They may escape justice in a court of law, but they are exposed as GUILTY in the world's eyes. KARMA, BABY!!!
