I think I offended Janet last night ..... but I certainly did not intend to. Ohcanada posted a pic and an open-ended attack on Francine Byrd a few nights ago. I responded to Ohcanada in a harsh matter and I was TRYING to keep Francine's name out of it.  Last night, Janet (innocently) revealed Francine's name. I know her intentions were sincere and righteous, but she apparently did not see my previous posts. Janet was annoyed at me. I sincerely apologize -- I was just trying to spare Francine from being reintroduced to those ridiculous accusations.

I was also here last night......it was a MISUNDERSTANDING...oh...give me a break (as in I'm not buying the BS)...canada

You are right -- I'm sorry. It is just that oh____ posted a pic of her a few nights ago and it really infuriated me. I posted a response that it was really unfair to dredge Francine's name up again after 4 years. She is only guilty of being one of Natalee's closest friends. I was hoping to keep her name out of this latest dribble from OC.

I actually did not work on that. I just posted what was known.
I have been working on other stuff (oil/pipeline, paulus and couple of others)and talking with the
state Att. DA, attorney general, Witch ta Police etc etc.

Let me just say YES.

I posted some bait, directing them to the Freebird blog.

At that blog (at the same time of day ohcanada is usually here) there was a hit from that link at SM by a person at McKinsey.

McKinsey has an office in Calgary.

So...........................the deduction was - "ohcanada" is that person.

That could be incorrect - but SOMEONE working for McKinsey is reading here at SM, and took the bait I laid out to go to the Freebird blog.

Saturday morning a bouncer went to work and found to his surprise that his desk had disappeared. There was no way to work. The labour union took the case immediately. After some questions the desk seems to be returned again. At the Holliday Inn is the only casino who lost his first desk. We can expect more problems in this case with the bouncers of casino's.

Beth's message is certainly being heard, and paid attention to.  The Freebird blog still gets hits from educational institutions from across the country.

So people ARE listening!!!

Hopefully her talks are having an impact on the students, and they are being more watchful and mindful when they travel.  Especially outside the country.

Cageman or someone else may know better than I since I've never been to Aruba, but when we stayed at a resort hotel in the Dominican Republic the casino had it's own staff at the entrance and in various sections.  There were usually two at the door when the casino was busy.  Since it was a small casino, they also monitored the number of people who came in, probably due to occupancy regulations/code.  IIRC, they wore IDs and directed anyone with questions or problems to the proper area.  Just from my experience, the casino would be like any of the other concessions within a hotel, hiring their own employees, and would not be connected to the hotel management and security manpower directly.   jmo, of course.

Yes, I agree & thank Cageman, as well.  I must say, however, that Sandy Leiva's loose translations have been valued through the years, and so much better than the papiamento translator.       Just want her to know her work is appreciated.

Based on the description of the door security of Casino's from Renfro, normal security guards and the casino door bouncer/security guards are different.  Not the same as regular security guards at all.  At the casino they are there also to check ID's which of course they don't do if your name is Joran van der Sloot.

I agree 2NJ!  Sandy and Cageman are invaluable to us, and I am so glad they are both willing to help.  I can barely make sense from the Pamiamento translator results.

We met with Patrick while in Aruba. He said that he believed Paulus was Daury, but wouldn't come straight out and say it as if he were nervous about being recorded. I'm uncertain why he's being cryptic about it.
