ORANGE CITY - In its monthly report published yesterday on the month in March 2009 message, the Central Bank of Aruba, the Aruban economy is weakened. In particular, the tourism industry, the heavy. The number of tourists increased further in March. According to the provisional figures of that month the number of tourists dropped by 13.3 percent and increased the number of nights in Aruba by 10.7 percent.

In the first three months of 2009 decreased the number of tourists and the number of nights with respectively 8 and 5.2 percent. In the first three months of 2008 these figures were respectively 20.6 percent and plus plus 17.5 percent. The average occupancy rate of hotels and time shares registered 79.5 percent, a reduction of 5.5 percentage points compared with the previous year. In the first three months of 2009 the occupancy rate fell by 4.7 percentage points to 80.7 percent, compared with the corresponding period of 2008. However, while the verblijfstoerisme hard to endure was hit, showed data from the Cruise Tourism Authority an increase in the number of cruise passengers from 13.3 percent, while the number of ships fell by 4.1 percent. Between January and March 2009 the number of cruise passengers grew by 4 percent, while the number of ships fell by 12.8 percent. In 2008 the number of passengers and ships, respectively, 36.9 and 30 percent. This indicates that larger vessels Aruba ports and a higher utilization rate of the cruise ships.

ORANGE CITY - Owner Edmond Croes is pride in the control of its new TV channel. Unlike some other media, including Amigoe have written the sender not the name of Top TV Solo TV, but it remains to Canal 22. "We do that deliberately because we are going to separate from Top FM and Solo Di Pueblo. These media are much more pronounced and on TV would be harder. "Croes said the broad approach to deal with a varied program. "We are in discussion with several local producers." The station is next week the channel number 22 on the cable shared with the Colombian commercial broadcaster RCN. "We start with single shots in the programming of RCN short live broadcasts and news updates. This order also gradually learn to work with the system. "It is planned that at least a news, talk shows and own two lots of sports on the channel will be displayed. This weekend, the first test broadcast.

"Prime Minister Oduber brought forth that under no circumstance would his Administration accept an investigation by The Netherlands, seeing as any investigation in the matter of corruption is an internal matter that would be investigate(d) by the District Attorney offices of Aruba."

    Wonder how long that might take?

What an arrogant azzzhole!Hell no,Aruba and the miscreants of Aruba won't allow an investigation from an impartial Law enforcement entity.Aruba knows what those findings would entail!Murders covered-up,Drug Trafficking,Human-Trafficking,Money Laundering and God knows what else....JMOO!
