A man with multiple gunshot wounds was found dead Friday in a far west Houston apartment.

Abraham Woods Jr., 44, was discovered inside a Villas at Westheimer unit by a manager checking on a complaint about loud television noise, Houston police spokesman Kese Smith said.

It is unclear whether Woods was a resident of the complex at 2727 Synott.

“His family has indicated that his white 2001 two-door Mercedes is missing from the garage,” Smith said.

Woods’ relatives could not be reached for comment.

A woman who answered the phone in the apartment complex office Saturday said that the management had no comment.

He should be listed here, but isn't and I find no updates re: a suspect or arrest.

Hundreds of murders have yet to be solved

People are getting away with murder
Police in the Houston region reported 2,750 homicides from 2004 to 2009. Of those cases, 850 have yet to be solved
