I agree...Wow..and I do believe Kronk..and I don't think it was too hard to figure where the body would be if yuo just thought about Casey's twisted mind...and not the cell ping's etc.  Casey is a pretty simplistic thinker and doer.  She does what strikes her at the moment..not much fore- thought or after- thought.  She did was was a simple disposal to her..and close to home.  Which is why it is not surprising that KioMarie, Kronk and some others fiured that area was the place.  Even Tim M was looking there but hampered by the water.  Dom C and Jim Hoover where there....Casey was not an original thinker.  She lives more for the moment and feeling..then on a thought process other then what she wants now..hmm...that must have been Hell in that house...both Caylee and Casey were at about the same emotional age.

You are very right Gypsy.  She was very much "out of sight out of mind" partying it up, then the smell overtook the care and she just put Caylee where ever was most convenient to her without messing up her schedule of social life.

Last year on Mother's Day the whole family got together for a big dinner, and afterward, when Mom started to clean up I said to her, "Don't bother with those dishes, Mom.  Today is Mother's Day -- you can always do them tomorrow."

Did she then turn around and smack you a good one the way only a Mother could?

What's up with Casey Anthony's defense?

WFTV-Channel 9 reported last night that attorney Terence Lenamon of South Florida didn't quit the case -- rather, he was on hold while Jose Baez decided on the death-qualified attorney for the young mother. Baez is not qualified for that role.

"Baez has that person now but he won't reveal his identity yet," WFTV's Kenneth Moton said.

Baez's spokeswoman, Marti Mackenzie, told WFTV that the attorney joining the team is "prominent, highly sophisticated and highly qualified." He will be announced at the next court hearing May 28.

WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer scoffed at that approach: "It's not a staged production. ... Let's not lose sight of what all of this is all about."

Casey Anthony is accused of the first-degree murder of her daughter, Caylee.

"The defense appears to be very unstable," Sheaffer said.

He predicted the new attorney will be from out of town. "It seems the defense loves drama," Sheaffer said.

State questions ability of defense to try Casey Anthony case

Prosecutors have asked for a hearing to determine if Casey Anthony's legal team is qualified to try her capital murder case.

The prosecution says Terrence Lennamon, who was previously the only death penalty qualified lawyer on the defense team, is no longer working the Casey Anthony case. They believe that could lead to legal problems down the road.

"There will be a new death-qualified lawyer in place by the next hearing which is the end of this month," said defense spokeswoman Marti Mackenzie.

The hearing had already been scheduled for May 28th to discuss the release of a video taken of Casey Anthony inside the Orange County Jail the day she learned a child's remains had been found near her parents home.

Mackenzie wouldn't say who the new lawyer was, only that the person is experienced in trying death penalty cases.

Trimm thanks for posting the articles, this struck me in the latest article.        Mackenzie wouldn't say who the new lawyer was, only that the person is experienced in trying death penalty cases. Well duh, lets hope so, otherwise why pick him/her as a DP qualified lawyer.

Anthonys Making Another TV Appearance

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- George and Cindy Anthony will make another appearance on national television.

Next Wednesday, May 13, the parents of Casey Anthony will appear on CNN's Larry King Live. The Anthonys were last on that program in December 2008, the night before Caylee's remains were found.

The Anthonys' attorney, Brad Conway, will be joining them on the show.

 

Of course!  They have to get the "pitty us" factor in there with their handicapt attorney!  Normally I am not this sinical, but my God!  This man uses his disability to try and draw sympathy from onlookers and the American public - he makes me want to hurl!!!  He has Georgy-porgy pushing him in to the depo while cameras are watching, his face shows masked fear while his hands stay close to the wheels.........so not buying it!!!!!
Larry King, you have gone down again in my ratings book.  You have surely become a disgrace in your old age.

The comments about Brad Conway are extremely insensitive unkind.  Disabled people do not seek sympathy, most especially the employed disabled.
