Investigators Still Trying to Identify Landfill Body

Jackson County Sheriff's Investigators are still trying to identify a body found in a landfill yesterday, and they could use some help.

Workers at the Spring Hill landfill in Campbellton discovered the body around 1:00 Monday afternoon. Investigators believe the man died within the last 48 hours, but so far they don't know the cause of death.

They say it's a white man with reddish brown hair. It may take some time until they can make a positive identification.

"I think you have to understand, the condition of this body is going to impede our progress in this case, we're probably going to have to rely heavily on DNA for identification. I think it's gonna take some time. first of all, we've got to have someone to compare it to," says Lou Roberts, Jackson County Sheriff.

Authorities are using blood hounds to try and pick-up a scent leading from the landfill, which handles waste from several counties in Florida, Alabama and Georgia.

I still believe that she is alive.
We can't give up on her.  She could be out there waiting for someone to come and save her.  Put yourself in Haleighs shoes. 
It's been long enough, LE needs to put 2 and 2 together and bring her home.

This is an idea, that has popped into my head.. I have run across several news articles, and the info on the who arrived at what time.  Look at a 7 hour time frame of travel.  Using a compass pinpoint Satsuma, and the areas on a 180 degree at that 7 hour travel locations, start pinpoint towns and cities.. And start looking for family members.   On one News report as a quote from LE on February 12, 2009. Le advised the reporter, that Crystal lived in Georgia and that she was at home at the time that Haleigh went missing.  Now, does that not cause a bit of brain confusion?  Where would the detective reporting this, come up with this info?

I wonder why LE hasn't release the evidence that they have collected in the home.
They release the van . Do they have to arrest someone  or ones  before they release any findings that they have collected... So far no word on the door they took and the piece of wall or anything else...

     Good Morning, beautiful pic Brandi. If Haleigh is with a family member, my problem with this would be medical care. Since Haleigh has Turner's syndrome, I'm sure she would have to go to the doctor, I just feel that someone would recognize her, or be suspicious, something.
