Tried the people search for that city,state.  Nothing listed even for a ...MILLER.  Any other clues??

I found alot of Glenda Millers in TN.... I think if a family member has Haleigh on GGRANNY side it would be her  maiden name.. As GGranny has been married a couple of times or more... Stallings or Squire was her maiden name?? I am so confused @ this time .. What is GGranny maiden name....

are there 2 great granny's? one on Crystals side too? Remember Marie stated early on that she felt that Haleigh was in another state....what does she know? what family does she have out of state?

We will look @ both sides who has family out of state. Also 7 hours away and mostly likely live in a rural area or owns their own farm where Haleigh would be out of sight... Marie made that comment  I dont think to incriminate themselves but knowing the Cummings and GGranny Sykes have family out of state... melee posted states that were 7 hours away also I wanted to know if Texas is 7 hours away?

I am in Texas JG, I know that I am 15 hours away from Ga and I believe that Florida would be farther.  My son is based in Georgia and I believe Florida is at least 6 hours from him.   But let me check that out, just going off the top of my head at the present which is pretty scrambled right now, lol.

Ok Grama and JG, whose side of the family do you think  Brooks (Amber, Lisa, and Mary,  belongs, the Sheffields or the Johns, or some other?

I have ran across a Justin and Jason Johns in San Mateo. And possibly a Brian Johns in Bostwick.   Anyone know Mary D Brooks maiden name?

Maybe all us monkeys all can take a name and do some searching in other states..

Cookie, we know that Marie's maiden name was John's.  early on in the research,  I found some data and thought I had posted it.  In fact, I had found a John's female who had married a Cummings, this would be about a generation or so back..  I don't know who her parents were, but I do believe that she and johnny were married in Baker county or St. John's county.  I guess its time to start digging.  I found in the distance elements I was talking about this morning, that there are about 1500 Sheffields in the cities and towns that I posted, within that 7 hour travel time. 
This is what I based it on.  In a news report I located, I found that the Detective had told the reporter that Crystal was at her residence in Georgia at the time Haleigh went missing. That is odd, you have to admit.  Second, the reports that Marie was notified at 3:45 in the morning, not Crystal.. but Marie. They called Johnny Sheffield to drive over to the mobile home and check it out, in case it was a prank??  Now, lets be honest and direct.. Why would they think this was a prank?
next, it is reported that they were seen gasing up, also that Marie finished her bus route, prior to starting to head out of Satsuma.  Now, I know for a fact, Marie could have called in and had a substitue drive the bus that morning.  I use to be a substitue bus driver, so that too makes you wonder>  Next, it was reported they did not arrive for 7 to 7 and 1/2 hours after the initial call was made.  My thoughts, what if.. they wanted to make sure Haleigh had safely arrived at a location out of state.  By the time they arrived in Satsuma, Haleigh would have been that far away.

I think there are many details that are out there, we just haven't found them, if we work together, we just might..

mlee....yep...that makes sense and goes with Marie's statement that she thought or had a feeling that Haleigh was in another state...I think that she may have even named the state IIRC....Myself, I thought it odd at the time and kindof piqued my hinky meter at the time...but could just be me...
I don't understand the delay in Crystal getting to Satsuma either....I would not even stop for a minute would you? would be out that door so darn fast...I wonder if she could have even called the police where she lives and gotten a police escort or an officer to drive her at top speed?

First let's gather facts for a timeline.  the reason for Haleigh to go missing, has to be a parental issue.  Haleigh's wellbeing.   Something promoted this to occur.  It is not going to be money.  I think its possible that something about the weekend prior initiated this.  It's possible that the party weekend was a little bit too much for someone to handle, and it was a breaking point.   So, lets dig on that weekend with what we can find.  You notice Amber has said nothing. she could be the candle that lite the flame.

Two, I think we should gather as much information like grandparents, brothers sisters of the sheffields that live in other states..  Take your choice Cookie their is alot to go around..

I wanted to add,  Fayetteville is where Ft. Bragg is located, also Polk Field, so it is Army and Air Force.  Very large City, which stretches down to Hoke County, NC.

Rockingham is a small community, rural and very country..

Charlotte, is absolutely huge, and to tell you the truth, on one afternoon at Carawins, which is huge Park, you might see 200 little girls that look alot like Haleigh.

Laurenburg, is larger than Rockingham, stretched out, and butts up against SC.

Spartenburg, SC, another very large city, spread out and rural.

Atlanta, takes in at least 12 counties.

Montgomery, LaGrange Mobile, Montgomery and Athens, I really don't know much about.  I have been in and through all the others.

What day was it that Misty hooked up with Nay, Nay?

Was Amber communicating with Crystal before, after, or during the entire time of the partying?

What was the day that Amber borrowed Nay, Nay's car?

We found this past week that Grandma Sykes was born in Dallas.

Approximately 195 Sykes listed in the DFW metroplex area, and that is not even counting all the little suburbs. Which if they are the older generation and lived on an acre or more, farms, etc., they probably will be in the suburbs.
