It is almost to the point where I feel like I can't read and follow these cases much longer. Sometimes I just think it would be better for my sanity and blood pressure to just watch TV Land and nothing more and toss my computer out the window. I am so frustrated with human beings and the evilness.

try to remember the ones that come out good . When it gets really bad remember Elisabeth Smart . Good happens from keeping thesechildrens face in the news

Something has been dangling in my mind.  I know that there has been talk of a possible..doorbell.

Is / was it actually a ..doorbell someone heard the night Haleigh went missing????

Or..is it possible it was a ...cellphone...with a distinctive ring....like a doorbell.  I have listened to some cellphone rings, and some are actually quite real sounding, like a baby crying.

Just another thought to ponder....

You have GOT to be kidding, right?  They gave him a 5K bond....and with all the other TRASH I have seen they go lighter on the bonds.  Never in my life have I heard of such craziness.

William Eugene Staubs, 51, turned himself in to Putnam County Sheriffs Department this morning after learning yesterday that they had issued a warrant for his arrest for False Imprisonment with a bail of $5,004. (Putnam County Online Booking Info)

Staubs gained national attention recently when he showed up in Putnam County to investigate the case of missing 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings (you can read more about Haleigh here.

Early after his arrival, there were news reports of a sex offender in the area that had shown up to the newly created Haleighbug Center to offer donations of office furniture.

Cobra decided to go question Snodgrass and in the process decided he was in violation of his bail and placed him in handcuffs, under arrest. Cobra held him for over an hour.

The problem arises from the fact that Cobra had no authority to make that arrest. He did not pay the bail, did not issue the bail bond, nor was he hired by the bondsman that did issue it to revoke the bail. When contacted the Bondsman that did issue the bond declined to revoke the bail and Cobra released Snodgrass.

Many are angry at Putnam County authorities for filing the charges because he “appears” to be the only one doing anything about finding the missing girl.

However, things aren’t always as they appear. So far, everything Cobra has “exposed” was already known to investigators and all Cobra accomplished was to make public what the investigators wanted to keep quiet.

Additionally, Cobra could have endangered their case. There is no question that Cobra broke the law in making that arrest. Only the person who pays the bail, the bondsman that issued the bond, and the court/law enforcement can revoke a bail bond. Cobra had no authority whatsoever to do so.

Even if Snodgrass had confessed to kidnapping Haleigh, that information would likely have been thrown out by the courts because of the false imprisonment. (Note: LE has already indicated they believe the abduction is not a stranger abduction which eliminates Snodgrass). Cobra could have caused a guilty man to walk free by his actions
