http://ssdi.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/ssdi.cgi?lastname=welfenberg&firstname=&nt=exact

The logic behind me posting the above link is the make clear on the Welfenberg's.
There are two Robert Welfenberg's, only, one Robert B.Welfenberg that I am aware of.

Why can't I find "Joe Stephen Squires"? Joseph or Stephen?  This guy is difficult to catch,
perhaps, he was wise to maintain a low profile, I wonder why. There is a 1945 Texas census it is on
familysearch.org., "pilot program" click on the map, a list of links to search, one is 1945 Texas census
among other cholces.

PS I you are interested, I would try, "Family Search Pilot Program" on google, may be the best route.

Free site for Texas death records. Please, keep in mind, sometimes, sites are fully loaded.

I am looking for a free Florida death records search if one is available?

Hi please could a talented monkey assemble a structure of Dorothy Annette Stallings husbands?
I get all messed up with this womens husbands, first was it Squires or was it Welfenberg?
So it three times we think she was married?

Why can't we find anything on Joe Stephan Squires?  Do we know if he is really dead or just playing dead?

This is Bobby and Bert Squires from Putnam, but do not list Joe or his children.
Bert Howard Squires, 81, of Francis, died peacefully Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005, at the Putnam Community Medical Center in Palatka.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Francis. He was a distinguished WWII veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. While in the U.S. Army he was assigned to the 9th Armored Division of the 52 Armored Infantry Battalion. His service included participating in the landing at Normandy on D-Day on June 6, 1944 and the Battle of the Bulge. Wounded in the Battle of the Bulge, he was captured by the German forces and imprisoned. For his service he received the European African Middle Eastern Ribbon, two Bronze Stars, Purple Heart and one Oak Leaf Cluster and the World War II Service Ribbon. His record of military service was featured in the Palatka Daily News. Following the war he worked for Georgia-Pacific Corp. in Palatka as a crane operator and later as a control room operator, retiring in 1986 after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Pineland Lodge No. 86, Free and Accepted Masons and was of the Baptist faith. He loved his family, friends and animals and he enjoyed his memories of past days of hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Margaret(McCraney) Squires and his twin brother, Bruce Squires.

Surviving is his wife of 60 years, Betty Squires; his son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Kathy Squires; grandson, Bruce Squires and fiance Terri Sawyer; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Virginia Mitchell and Doris Wells; nieces and nephews, Linda Driggers, Judy Cooper, Sharon Myers Squires, Michael and Mark Wells, Marcy Russell and Matthew, Sammy, Danny and Benny Wells.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, at Masters Funeral Home of Palatka. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Harry Varnadoe and the Rev. Bill Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Etoniah Cemetery, Bardin, with military honors bestowed by the U. S. Army.

Thank-you, I will keep digging.  The "military registrations" are GREAT on ancestry.com, I'm sorry, I dont have a
membership, they are the bestsource, because they listed the addresses, who is the next of kin, height, weight, etc.
ancestry.com anything military on ancestry is just great stuff, but, you need to be a member OR press "pictures"
sometimes somethng will appear, or information.

Katrina Arbucklle has another name under #3 on this page.

I find this curious at how the men seem to die young. IMO

Seems to be a good source, they are offering a free seven day membership if you are interested, same as ancestry, but, more like scrambled eggs. OK, I am finished at cluttering up for the day. I would read the fine print what you agree to before signing up for the free membership, I don't know what it is, but, buyer beware:)  IMO
