AkMom, you have a beautiful, tender heart.  And good manners.  Yours is a kind voice of reason, reminding us to keep our Monkey behavior on the up and up.  Thank you.  Harkening back to my past experience with the "dark side" (lol) of marketing/advertising, below is what I sent to "Jonathan" yesterday in response to his company's form letter email distancing them from advertising on CNN:

They make me smile too. Dolce loves them and I think we may have gotten them from sweet Quiet Monkey.

Monkeys have been working hard the past few days. It would be wonderful to have a document dump tomorrow. Any luck of that??

I received an email back from overstock and the last line of this email made me mad as h*ll.  Slander??  I can't believe he wrote that!

Dear Wanda:

 

Thank you for your email.  We always like to hear from concerned customers.

 

However, I am confused by the content of your email.  Overstock.com has not advertised on CNN since November 2007 (we have advertised on Headline News, but Larry King Live does not air on that channel).  Even when we did advertise on CNN, we would purchase slots of airtime (e.g.,6am to 6pm) that were not specific to any show and CNN would air our ads at the times of CNN’s choosing.  We were not able to buy airtime for a specific show (e.g., Larry King Live) and we were not privy to any show’s guest lists or topics.

 

Given that we have not advertised on CNN or Larry King Live for well over a year and that we have never supported directly or indirectly Cindy and George Anthony, I ask that you reconsider your boycott.  I also ask that you inform the source of the incorrect information of the truth and any others that you have encouraged to boycott Overstock.com so that you do not engage in potential slander.

Dear Sweet Monkeys I want to say that you are the Best for all the countless things you have done for Caylee Marie.

I also want to say to keep at LKL to voice your feelings against having them on his show.  That said..I am wondering if they are already at the airport awaiting their first class flight to LA.   

If we can't stop the show then please...PLEASE...write, twitter, blog to LKL that we have questions that we want answered by the A's..yes put them on the spot..it will be a very boring show if Brad Conway has to keep interjecting that he won't let them answer that question..but also very telling.

I just don't want another mambi pambi interview..let LKL know that..I did..there is a place on the show's main page where you can email your questions to the show.  If he gets enough of the same questions over and over again..he'll ask them....or risk losing everything..he knows people don't want this show..so he is now in a position to listen to the people. 

And keep up with the advertisers..most them only care about profits..remember their responses or lack of them when you go to make a purchase..it is hard times in this country..we need to let everyone know that they are accountable for everything..where they advertise..whom they have on their shows and where we will or will not spend our dollars!

Gypsy, I have given Larry some questions, but I don't know if they can be answered. With Conway next to them, I'm sure he will keep saying that this question can't be answered, and this question can't. So what are they going to talk about?

Doc dump? Wish I had a crystal ball!  ...that and about 1000 new docs to peruse!  Hmm... Let's do the calculation: 

Anthonys scrambling for a national public platform. 
Kidfinders scrambling in a feeble attempt to refurbish their bad rep. 
Baez uncharacteristically  scrambling out the back door to avoid reporters.
Slow news week so far.
Silence from the SA office and LE.
Not all discovery docs have been made public yet.
LOTS of missing info that we're antsy to see!
Monkeys climbing the cage walls, getting restless.
It's been awhile since we had a substantial one.

Okay, I'll call the odds:  Tomorrow:5%.    Thursday:15%.    Friday:10%   Next week sometime:20%     Who knows when?:50%

If you falsely defame someone in writing it is called LIBEL.
Slander is the spoken version.
WE got their name on a list that Dolce provided, I think she got that from the LK show, so tell him to get mad with them, not us.
