ORLANDO, Fla. -- Casey Anthony's defense team once had a death penalty qualified attorney, but last week he dropped the case.

Attorney Terence Lenamon now says he stopped representing Casey because he did not agree with the legal strategy of her lead attorney Jose Baez.

"We had a difference in what I believe should have been done with the approach that is mental health related," Lenamon told CNN's Nancy Grace during an interview Tuesday night (watch it).

Lenamon explained he would have had Casey plead not guilty by reason of insanity.

That would not have got them very far. NG has explained that many times. If you are insane you make no attempt to hide your crime.  She went to great lengths and still is hiding the truth.
Interesting though that he admits her guilt and just tries to introduce a mitigating factor.
That's why Baez got rid of him, he wants to deny deny deny.
Lenaman has no need to prolong this case, he's not looking for publicity, as opposed to Baez who is lapping this up....

 Seems like Baez might be having trouble findind an atty. who will take the case. It's high profile, Bozo and clowns have made ridiculous statements that would have to be smoothed over, a client that's a pathological liar, and back to Bozo, whoever came in this team would have to be willing to let him keep pretending like he's the top dog. He's not going to all of a sudden let somebody else be the star at the pressers, no way, he's addicted so , it's got yto be hard to find somebody qualified, yet willing to let Jb  be the decision maker.

Casey's going down. When a client's own atty quits because he thinks the best chances to offer a client is an insanity plea, then Miss Bitch Britches is definately going down................

I pray every night that there will not be a "glove" in this case like there was for OJ.

Well, everyone knows that when leather gets wet and then dries it will shrink and get brittle. It had been soaked with blood, and he was half-azz trying to put it on. I'll bet if someone had told OJ that if he could put the glove on for a million dollars, that sucker would have been pull on slick as chit, and be a perfect fit. Just sayin'.

I am hoping, praying, lighting candles, and trying to have faith in God and the justice system that Casey's butt is going down. I am also doing the same for a sensible jury. Forensics is a lot more  understandable today than it was back then.

I think when Bozo called Lenamon two weeks ago, he not only said "NO" but "HE77 NO!" He was too tactful to say that on Nancy Grace. JMO
