Just checking in to see if all the California monkeys are present and accounted for.

IBE, I knew you would be rattled.

Now Klaas will never get you in the high rise building to attend the Kalpoe trials for sure!

Valley talk.."for sure, for sure!"  Right now I don't even want to get out of bed. This is the worse one since I have moved into a mobile home.

Well, I'm a Valley girl, IBE.  Just Tennessee Valley for the river basin, lol, so does that count?

Actually, the mountains that my home is at the base of, were formed from activity on the New Madrid faultline which is supposed to hold the potential for the most potential devastation in the US. It's just that there has been no activity since 1811 and no one gives it any thought. It runs from Arkansas to Indiana, and I've only felt one slight, slight tremor in my life from it. Scared the carp out of me!!!!

I was living in the Attic of a 3 story home and one day the lights started shaking and the couch and the floor.  I ran downstairs to tell my "friend" we were having an Earth Quake.  I ran to her bedroom when she didn't answer and heard moaning and groaning as the headboard banged against the wall.  The rest is history.   Monkey Devil!

Now, MM, tell the truth.  It should start out, I had a roommate that lived upstairs from me...

Not this time.  Few weeks later my son was home and it happened again.  He was like "what the heck is that".  I said "ah don't worry just a small earthquake".

Oh, I have been near you home! Went fishing in (forget the place, sr. moment) Real Foot lake or something like that. Made from the earthquake. My mom had earthquake ins. when she lived in Indiana.

Yes Ma'am!! Reel Foot Lake was made from an earthquake that came from the faultline that runs through my area. Largest faultline in the US and judging from all that was formed by quakes from it, scientist say the devastation would be unmatched anywhere.

Not sure if I would rather be cold sober or under the influence in an earthquake.  I have slept through some really bad weather however.
