I wonder if Drew Peterson will enjoy being on camera?  Even though he's still incarcerated, having cameras in the courtroom means he'll get more media  attention. Will he play up to the camera?  I would love to see the smirk wiped off his face.  JMHO

It seems  Drew Peterson attorney Joel Brodsky seems to think arrogantly yelling his argument makes his point, all he's giving me is a headache!

Peterson prosecutors argue against 'Drew's Law'
By Stacy St. Clair Tribune reporter
2:58 p.m. CST, February 16, 2011
In attempting to get hearsay statements admitted in Drew Peterson’s murder case, Will County prosecutors today found themselves arguing against the very law they helped create.

Saddled with a botched police investigation several years ago, State’s Attorney James Glasgow had pushed for a state statute that would allow hearsay statements against Peterson at trial. Dubbed Drew's Law by legal experts and legislators, he hailed the bill's passage as a way of letting Peterson's third and fourth wives speak from the grave.

Glasgow acknowledged the strange turn as he asked the Third District Appellate Court to ignore his statute in favor of the less-restrictive common law. “Ironically, I’m in a unique position here,” he told the three-member panel. “I wrote the statute.”

The proceedings — which were televised live, a first in state history — focused on prosecutors’ desire to admit several hearsay statements at trial.

from the article quoted by Trimm:
 ::snipping2::
Stacy Peterson’s siblings, Cassandra and Yelton Cales, attended the hearing, as well as Savio’s sister, Susan Doman. “Justice will prevail,” Cassandra Cales said. “It's just a long emotional roller coaster ride. We'll get there someday...I believe in my heart justice will be served."

Drew Peterson's son fired from Oak Brook P.D

 ::snipping2::

The charge that led to the younger Peterson’s dismissal stemmed from the legal troubles facing his father.

As CBS 2′s Pamela Jones reports, the three-member board upheld an accusation that the younger Peterson failed to cooperate fully with Illinois State Police in the days immediately following the October 2007 disappearance of his father’s fourth wife, Stacy.

  So what is going to happen to Drew's younger children? Doesn't Stephen have custody of them? No job, no way to support the children, right????

Hi, JSM.  According to the article, "...his father transferred $236,000 to him for the care of Drew's 4 youngest children."  His lawyer is going to appeal the decision.  He has 35 days to do so.

Drew Peterson's son fired from police job
February 20, 2011

OAK BROOK, Ill. (AP) - Suburban Chicago fire and police commissioners have fired Drew Peterson's son.
Drew Peterson, a former Bolingbrook police sergeant, is charged with murder in the death of his third wife and is a suspect in the disappearance of his fourth. His son Stephen Peterson was a police officer in Oak Brook. He was suspended in August after he testified that he hid several of his father's guns after his stepmother's disappearance.

On Saturday, the Oak Brook Board of Fire and Police Commissioners found that Stephen Peterson obstructed the investigation into the disappearance of Drew Peterson's fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, by hiding his father's guns

Peterson angry over son's firing

 ::snipping2::

“I am very angry that the police and fire board of Oak Brook are in the police chief’s pocket and that they can’t make a fair decision on their own,” said Peterson, who commented via his attorney, Joel Brodsky.

Peterson’s comments were e-mailed by Brodsky to The Herald-News. The former Bolingbrook police sergeant is being held at the Will County Jail while awaiting trial on charges he murdered his third wife, Kathleen Savio.

“When I gave Steve my guns there was no investigation to impede,” Peterson said. “They were my favorite guns, and I was going to give them to Steve when I retired anyway. I only gave him three of the dozen or so guns I owned, and I kept most of my guns in my house and the police confiscated them all, so how could giving him those three guns impede anything?”

Son of Drew Peterson is valedictorian, musician
March 20, 2011

BOLINGBROOK, Ill.—
Drew Peterson's 18-year-old son is making a name for himself outside the allegations against his father.

Tom Peterson is a suburban Chicago high school valedictorian, tennis team member and trumpet player with Ivy League aspirations. That's despite the difficulties over the past few years.
 ::snipping2::
Tom Peterson says the allegations have caused a lot of anxiety. He says he believes in his father's innocence but doesn't consider him a role model. He tells The Chicago Tribune that his father is "lost in his ego."
