Night monkeys, JSM loves all you monkeys.  It is so cold and windy tonight. God Bless you all and God Bless Caylee. I am so glad that little boy was found. JSM is having a hard time tonight. 

Nite JSM and Josef. We have just come in from trying to look at the stars. It is windy and chilly here too, we all had to put on jackets. There is a bunch of clouds out since it got dark, so no stars. Our cats sat inside the sliding back door giving us that "WTF!" look. They are not used to us sitting outside at night. Sorry you are having a bad night tonight. Tomorrow will be better. 

Thanks Fanny. I swear I want to become a nun and join a convent. Sorry you didn't get to look at the stars. I hope it gets warmer for you so you can send me some tomaters!

I don't think you really want to be a nun. I think you are saying that because it is Saturday night....

I can't wait for the tomaters either. If we have some on all the ones we planted, I'll send you some and we'll have mater sammiches together.

Is it me or is it .................sigh ?? She looks at best 4 yrs old in that photo when she is not yet even 3.
Why does Caylee look so much older than she really is and so tired in that photo ( not to mention the deep scab on her cheek bone) - When Cindy and George were to be IN CARE of Caylee .......
When it is taken * photo * SLORE was in her GLORY loving TONY .. thinking he was her white horse to ride her away... Mrs Casey Lazzaro .. with rainbows and hearts written in a note pad .. I am sick. I have never seen that photo of Caylee before now.
 

Deenie, there are many pictures of Caylee where she looks so much older than 2 1/2, this one she looks like a very big girl. There is another that she looks like a big girl her in her swim suit and a hat. Then I saw the video of her with her Papa on Father's day and I couldn't believe how tiny and small she was once I saw that video. She was a little tiny baby, but sometimes she looks like a 4 year old. I'm glad I am not the only person that thought the same thing that she looks older. The sad thing is the slore chose Tony over Caylee. No fault of Tony's don't get me wrong, it was all KC's doing. To me Tony was a bad guy at first for saying that he wanted boys not girls. But after seeing his interviews, I think he was a good guy for not wanting Caylee around the partying. JMO JSM

Yes he is a victim. If I hadn't have seen that Tony taped Lee in the care I would have thought Tony was a dawg. That made me think a lot highly about Tony L along with him telling KC to leave Caylee at home if they were partying. JMO JSM

O boi what a day, I was out of the cage minus to report hearing Briant was found - thanks be to God.   Today, was a whirlwind because we had our new carpet installed, I was so tired I passed out & now I'm up in the wee hours with no night owls to converse with.

I see Lenamon is at his bleeding heart babble again.  Here is my opinion for what it is worth, quite frankly I'm sick of hearing about what we should be considering regarding punishment for convicted murderers.  They sure didnt consider their victims nor the agony & terror they gave them yet I'm supposed to sympathize if they feel a possible touch of discomfort before they are basically put to sleep for good?  How do we equate being put to sleep compared to suffocation, strangulation, stabbing, lethal gunshot wounds, or even murder by overdose?  Do individuals advocating against the death penalty spend one moment thinking about the pain & suffering victims go thru...did they have a choice NO!  While I've always been against physical violence, at the same time I do believe that heinous killers should face the ultimate punishment...who qualifies for that in my mind, serial killers, child murderers, terrorists & those that commit a crime with no regard for human life causing the death of several people.   I'll tell ya one thing had a loved one of mine been murdered, law enforcement better get that person before I do because I can't guarantee I would wait for a jury of peers to determine the outcome - that comes from instinct not the logical mind.   My son was attacked viciously while playing basketball with friends in the privacy of one his friend's backyard, it was horrid but by the grace of God he didnt suffer permanent damage or worse albeit within inches (long story not for this thread) - that had me beyond livid as is & I fought with every ounce of my being to make sure these already harden teenage criminals received punishment.  The issues in that case were many, lowlife parents, school system ignored a zero tolerance policy (1 of them brought a knife to school previously), juvenile jails were crowded, not enough group homes...on and on but after 7 court appearances & my son facing his attackers as a 13 year old to tell the judge what he suffered & what he felt should be done,  they finally got sentenced but it was under par to what the State statue provided.   After that I served as a CASA volunteer for a few years...even then it was quite frustrating because in Jersey there are just not enough facilities, DYFUS is overwhelmed missing way too much before its too late & too many want to give juvenile offenders a second chance to the tune of a dozen recurrences.

We are so far afield from a general consensus of morality today, right now too much of a percentage of society is losing sight of accountability, respect & just plain decency, 1% of that whole is way too many.   Too many parents are failing, substance abuse clouds minds, legislators & judges choose lenacy despite statistics, not enough is being done to offer our youth an education in behavioral studies & mental health yet these same "bleeding heart" individuals utilize 1001 excuses when things go horribly irreversibly wrong.  Unfortunately, all I see is a further decline, I've been afraid for my children-more afraid of what is to come for mine & our generations present/future grandchildren.  I'd like to ask individuals such as Lenamon what he does on a daily basis to prevent these atrocities from occurring, what does he offer society besides excuses.  Like so many of you, my young life was filled with adversity, some that know me long-term would say novel worthy in many respects so the balance in my mind is despite suffrage & anguish I survived with a vengeance making what I could of my life, in turn as a mom, many years of that being a single parent, my 2 blessed me with not an ounce of concern or trouble.   How was that accomplished, relatively simple... natural parental love, providing basic guidelines of behavioral expectations, teaching consideration & compassion of others, applying learned logic, listening skills, quality of time spent with open communication & giving both of them the opportunity to utilize their own critical thinking skills.  Point being, we all have a choice in life & even if we have been exposed to pain in a variety of ways we can look in many directions for strength & achieve a positive outcome to resist not turning out worse than what caused that agony...if you haven't noticed this woman is not one inclined to accept excuses for reprehensible conduct.   I often contemplate how one could be a victim of one thing or another & yet then become the aggressor/abuser if they knew the pain it caused...its a phenomenon we all will continue to grapple with.

One more quick thing, if Casey is convicted of murder but does not receive the death penalty, she will not be in general population - she will be isolated in State prison as well due to being a child killer - even in prison other inmates snub their noses to those that kill babies & wish to cause them harm...so we will spend more of our tax dollars having to take extra measures to protect her life.   As far as what she would ever suffer after her conviction...she is a narcissistic sociopath who will never reach the full magnitude of what she did nor care except for how it affects her, don't expect to ever hear genuine remorse out of her.

I might as well be the first to wish the monkeys good morning as I say good nite...lol

Morning Califmom, tks for asking.  He suffered a can of mace being sprayed in his face, slight lung compromise but healed, a hairline fractured ankle, concussion & multiple bruises back then but he rebounded magnificently & with a strength of character - the kid 4 days later insisted on showing up to his spring concert on crutches so he didnt disappoint his band members, not to mention he had a drum solo, people gave him a standing O & it really helped him overcome the initial trauma.  A few weeks later, since the attack made the local papers, the NJ devils read that in the process of the attack his brand new leather NJ Devil's jacket was stolen & they called our local PD to get in touch with us so they could have us come to a game, dine at the clubhouse & they presented him with a new jacket.  He went on to play Varsity football, hockey & baseball in HS.     A few years later, he was a young EMT when 911 occurred, as it happened he rushed in the city to assist continuing to help at Ground Zero for 6 more days until I encouraged him it was time to return to his pre-med college classes but 6 months later he enlisted, med specialist & I'm a proud Army mom.

I just LOVE 'mater sammiches!!!! Can't plant until memorial day.  I don't get any of my own until September. Just got Topsy Turvey but this seems like a gimmick???  Casey will never know a simple thing like a home grown tomato sandwich!!

Attorney General Charlie Crist, who is also the Republican candidate for governor, declined immediate comment Friday through a spokeswoman, but last fall he urged the Legislature not to change the law.
“Had the requirement for an unanimous vote to recommend been in place earlier, serial killers such as Ted Bundy, Aileen Wuornos and others would not have met the fate they deserved for their actions. Juries recommended death for both Bundy and Wuornos by 10-2 votes,” Crist said then.Source  “

If serial killer Ted Bundy did not get a unanimous jury vote for the Death Penalty  do you think Casey Anthony will?  At this point  the current law is that the death penalty does not have to be unanimous but the law could change.

Ted Bundy was his own Death Penalty lawyer in his Trial yet now Casey Anthony must have a “Death Penalty Qualified” lead attorney for her upcoming trial.  I think alot of us are still waiting for more clarification on the Death Qualified attorney requirement in Florida regarding the Casey Anthony case .  Maybe since Ted Bundy did not get any appeals to go through it means since it was ‘his’ choice to be his own counsel that he sealed his fate.  If so, then Casey would seal her fate if she does choose Jose Baez as her lead counsel.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Attorneys for Casey Anthony are expected to ask a judge to dismiss the defamation suit against her next Tuesday.

Zenaida Gonzalez of Kissimmee claims Anthony's allegations that a babysitter by the same name kidnapped Caylee caused her to lose her job and ruined her good name.

Anthony is in the Orange County Jail, charged with murder in her daughter's death. Caylee's remains were found last December in a wooded area off Suburban Drive near the Anthony family home in East Orange County.

In recent depositions, Anthony's family members said under oath that based on physical description, the woman she was describing is not the same one one suing her. But each also admitted that they never actually met the woman Anthony described.

Friday morning, Gonzalez' attorney Keith Mitnik said he's confident the case will not be dismissed. Mitnik told WESH 2 that they were in the process of amending their original complaint and in Tuesday's hearing will ask that they also be allowed to seek punitive damages against Casey.

"There could be some fireworks," Mitnik said.

Later in the week, another hearing is expected before Judge Jose Rodriguez to determine whether he will order the Anthonys to answer certain questions they would not in their depositions at the offices of Morgan and Morgan last month.

Good Morning Monkeys and guests. Top o' the Mornin' to ya!!! 

Capp I should have gotten up and chatted with you earlier. I had one of those doze off and wake up kind of nights. Should have just gotten up and be done with it. Just got home from church, and now I need a nap. It is amazing what each monkey brings to the cage. It is no suprise to me the feistiness you relayed about your son's attack. I am glad he turned out to be such a fine man. I can hear the pride in both your children  in your post. You are right, it takes much time and effort to be a parent. It takes much dedication too. Besides being such a good mother and also can explain many legalities to us in a way we can understand, I salute you!!! Besides, when the time is right you can lay down some pretty good NJ smack!! I love it when you go off!! 

Scarlett, thank you for enjoying my southern humor. We grew up with it and it just comes naturally. You'll probably do ok with your Topsy Turvy. I did consider getting one, but I had a really good place to put ours in the ground.   

Trimm, thanks for the article about the legislation in Florida about the death penalty. I sure hope it does not go through. I used to not believe in the death penalty, and then I had an abrupt change of heart and have never wavered in my belief again that there are just some evil people out there that do not deserve to waste the natural resourses to keep them alive. Yep, I know, I just got home from church........

What a wonderful victory yesterday when Briant got to go home to his family!!!!  We cannot bring Caylee home,  she is with her Father, but we can be unrelentless in making sure the people responsible for her death will know the Monkeys are not going away and that we love Caylee.
