In the U.S. it is now a bad thing to have clean burning coal energy plants.  Why is that?  The U.S. has an abundance of clean burning coal technology, and lots of coal.  However, we must respect the environment and strip-mining is a bad thing.  Carbon ponzi schemes aboud...

In China, iirc, they are building many coal fired plants each day, and apparently they produce methanol from coal.

Methanol is a clear liquid normally made from natural gas.  China makes methanol from coal.  China’s main use for methanol is in blended gasoline.  Taxi and bus fleets in China run on high-methanol blends.  Their retail gas pumps are selling low-methanol blends similar to the U.S. gas pumps using blended ethanol.

China makes a great deal of methanol and is adding more capacity, but it still imports methanol.  Recently Chinese imports have recently been climbing.

Will China import raw materials 'coal' to make methanol?  Or, will they import methanol from the U.S.?

Why not tax exports?  I wonder how long before we are blowing up mountains and whole states to export coal to China.

The Chinese seem to have mastered the economy, the U.S. is becoming a slave nation, burdened with debt to China for generations.

George Bush pitched pennies into our future debt.  Obama is gambling away in the back room reserved for only the high rollers.

Is the future of America is forfeit?
Who is looking out for future generations?
