How is the election going so far? FOX is "calling" some races but I'm pretty confused so far.

Thank God for you, George, for always speaking your mind. If you say they're on a roll, that's what it must be.

Just now I saw John McCain on FOX giving an almost concession speech. Saying "We will learn from this year's election. We are still a vibrant political party." I felt so badly for him.

The Independent candidate, Joe Lieberman won the Senate seat in CT.

Let's keep watching.

Well, I don't think it's a good thing that the Dems are doing well.

I do think the vote was pretty much determined by 'hate Bush' and the Irag war.

Both causes I think are totally superfulous to the operations of a government.

As John McCain said, Irag is not a Vietnam where if we leave, the insurgents will be happy to take over and let us alone. The insurgents are warriors of a global war with the U.S. and it appears most folks in the U.S. don't realize that or don't want to deal with it in their daily lives. And as McCain said we appear to be heading toward a disaster.

Kinda like the period before WWII and all the pacifists trying to keep the U.S. out of the war. Heck we already had a 'Pearl Harbor' and the Dems don't think we're really at war.
