How can change start a tsunami of illegal opportunists continues to flow into our nation?  How can we build a sound economy on the 'shifty sands of illegal migration'?

Some days, it seems like Barack keeps beefing up the benefit package for his chosen people, known to some as 'illegal aliens'.  How will this make life better for those already here?  Those that cannot get jobs?  Those that have homes, mortgages, and are underemployed?  No jobs or government givaways for you!

They come here, have a baby and many apply for welfare benefits.  Why work?  If you work, it's an added bonus, no taxes, or use an ITIN number and get it all back.

If there were just a few illegal people, I don't think there would be a problem.  I've read estimates of between 12 and 20 million illegal people.  I am inclined to believe that there are really between 40 and 50 million living in the 'shadows'.

When Barack makes them citizens, can the nation afford another 50 million people on government aid during these troubled times?  Food Stamps?  Student aid?  Free education?  Where is the free education for citizens?

What is the difference between past legal immigrants and these illegal aliens?

Over generalized -

Past waves of immigrants ADDED to the nation.  They added value.  When past waves of immigration came, there were few if any welfare programs.  It was work or go hungry, just like for those already here.

Past waves of immigrants came and stayed.  They build homes, had families, and assimilated.  They did not return home after a few years, eligible for Social Security and Medicare, they did not send money home, they continued to contribute.  America was there home.  There was no absentee ballot to skew election results.   Foreign citizens didn't vote in our elections, Americans did.  America wasn't controlled by foreign interests.

Today, illegal immigrants come and apply for benefits.  They may not qualify for all of them, but their citizen babies do.   There is no E-Verify for many jobs.  How many illegal people use their citizen babies Social Security card to work?  How many babies work in offices and do construction jobs?  Are these jobs that are available or offered to Americans and people here legally?  Does Barack have an activist group of testers ensuring fairness?  They remain grounded in their country of origin for many reasons. It's a lot easier to slip back over the boarder and take their accumulated wealth with them.  And, their 'voting rights'.

How can there be meaningful change in America if the border remain wide open?  If the government does nothing to stem the human tsunami of illegal opportunists?  Encourage these people to return to their county of origin?

How will the budget ever be balanced if Barack allows this to continue and doesn't send about 49 million of these folks home, along with their families?

How will the budget ever be balanced if Barack continues to throw money at people non-citizens?  Illegals?

When will there be a get tough policy to stop the tsunami of illegals?

Why are American citizens second and third class residents?  There is no student aid for you American citizen.  Your legal assets and IRS file disqualify you.  No jobs for you American citizen.

Barack makes sure the tsunami of illegal people is taken care of, and with a stroke of a pen will probably make them legal, and the nation will be under another crushing weight of debt.

It's OK, Barack plans for bananas to fuel the economy.  That along with paper money you can burn to keep your house warm, or use to paper your walls.

I believe that no one would even notice the illegal people if it was a few that lived peacefully.

However, I keep reading about violence on the border, the drug war, the drug trafficing, the money...

Why isn't the money being stopped?  Stop the flow of money people are spending on drugs.  If drug consumption was due to folks on Wall Street, it should have stopped already.

It seems like the drug violence exploded when welfare benefits increased during the stimulus bill and bailout.

Good people - legal and illegal get hurt by the dangerous criminals.  Why isn't Barack doing more to send these bad people home?  Close the border loopholes?

Who's looking out for Americans?  Who's protecting us from the anti-American administration?  It was bad before January, and it's snowballing.

We, as a Nation, can move over and make room for any legal immigrants; but, not illegal.  Both parties are supporting the trespass into "our house" of uninvited persons.

The illegal aliens support a network of "coyoties" in their criminal activities.  How many of the people transporters are drug transporters?  The Politicians have allowed this to continue, making it possible for what was once thousands . . . to become millions.  Politicians never do anything without benefit.

Supporting illegal immigration is a violation of the laws.  Somehow, in this upside down world, illegal is legal and support illegal is a good thing.

The sky is green; the grass is orange . . . and we (all) have overactive imaginations.

Prohibit Totalization. The Social Security Administration has signed a totalization treaty with Mexico. The agreement would allow millions of illegal immigrants to collect Social Security benefits. This is a slap in the face to older Americans who worked hard their whole lives yet continue to struggle on their current benefit.

...Have you heard of the “Social Security Totalization Agreement” proposed by our government and Mexico? This agreement would allow illegal aliens working in the United States to qualify for Social Security benefits with as few as six coverage credits, while 40 coverage credits would be required for U.S. citizens.

Illegals also would qualify for partial Social Security benefits after 18 months for working illegally in the United States. American citizens must work a minimum of 10 years to qualify for these partial benefits.

Lastly, families and dependents of illegal workers would be entitled to benefits as dependents and survivors, even if not residing in the United States.

Ask your representatives!

Social Security 'Totalization'
Examining a Lopsided Agreement with Mexico

September 2004

...

1. One-sided. Unlike the 20 existing agreements, a totalization agreement with Mexico would be one-sided. Its beneficial effects to U.S. workers would be miniscule compared to those received by potentially millions of Mexicans. It is expected that the totalization agreement with Mexico would:

Provide only modest tax savings for American workers and their employers compared to other totalization agreements.

Entice Mexicans to remain in the United States for the 10 years it takes to vest for U.S. Social Security (versus 24 in Mexico) in order to maximize their retirement income. The United States pays out far more to low-wage workers than they contribute to the system. In contrast, Mexico only pays out what was contributed, plus accrued interest.

Permit Mexicans to return home and have their spouses and dependents receive U.S. Social Security benefits they would not have been entitled to without a totalization agreement.

Permit partial Social Security benefits to be paid to those who worked in the United States as little as 18 months (six quarters).

Eventually compel the United States to pay out billions in retirement benefits to Mexicans for credits they acquired while using fraudulent Social Security numbers prior to obtaining legal status.

Lure even more Mexicans into the United States illegally in the hopes they would obtain amnesty, thereby making themselves and their families eligible to receive U.S. Social Security benefits once the worker returned to Mexico and reached retirement age.

What are the chances that Americans can sneak into Mexico, qualify for all kinds of benefits while illegal, and collect from the Mexican retirement system?

Anchor babies away: enormous cost of jackpot babies to taxpayers
May 18, 3:57 PM

Quote
Estimates show 300,000 to 350,000 illegal alien women stream into the United States annually to birth their babies upon American soil. Known as “anchor babies” or “jackpot babies”, the average cost of a normal delivery to U.S. taxpayers runs $6,000 to $8,000.

However, if the child suffers from a birth defect such as mio-cardial septal defect, Downs Syndrome, autism or AIDS, etc., the costs run into the millions for taxpayers. Additionally, those babies must be educated at taxpayer expense at $8,000 per year for 13 years K-12.

Quote
Finally, Rep. Nathan Deal (R-Ga.) introduced H.R. 1868, the Birthright Citizenship Act of 2009. H.R. 1868 would end the process of granting automatic birthright citizenship to the babies born in the United States to illegal aliens.

...“In its Spring 2005 edition, the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons reported that "between 300,000 and 350,000 anchor babies annually become citizens… In 2003 in Stockton, California, 70 percent of the 2,300 babies born in San Joaquin General Hospital's maternity ward were anchor babies…"

He continued, “These staggering figures tell only part of the story. Birthright citizenship incentivices illegal immigration by making anchor babies eligible to sponsor their illegal alien mothers and other relatives once they turn 21. In addition, at present, there is no formal policy that forbids DHS from deporting the illegal alien parents of a child born in the U.S. Yet in most cases, immigration officials habitually choose not to initiate removal proceedings, allowing the parents to remain in the U.S. illegally. Perhaps most starkly, anchor babies additionally draw benefits and services from taxpayer dollars.

Quote
Anchor babies are citizens, and instantly qualify for public welfare aid…In 1994, 74,987 anchor babies in California hospital maternity units cost $215 million and constituted 36 percent of all Medi-Cal births. Now they account for substantially more than half."

Quote
At some point, third world countries such as Mexico must take responsibility for their citizens...Illegal aliens must take personal responsibility for their actions and be personally accountable for caring and affording their children. It’s not up to the U.S. taxpayer to carry the load while U.S. businesses reap a profit from this 21st century slave labor...

Lots of upset people.  I never knew there were so many illegal aliens in the country and what the cost was.
