Who would of thunk it?  This shy lil monkey just hit the 200 post mark in only 9 months.

I think I am finally coming out of my vine.

Dear mods, I have a question.  I know musings is a place for off topic conversation and anything goes but profanity and links to x-rated sites.  What I want to know is can I post something about my only daughter that has a home business on Etsy.com?  I have seen other people on here talk about Etsy and I would love to post a review she got from one of her customers.  I am a very proud mommy.  Will be waiting to hear.  Either way, TIA.

Hugs, Magic

I would say you can post the review but remove personal information like your daughter's full name, email address, etc..

Some people have websites which can be linked in their SM profile, but generally we don't use the forum for advertising personal businesses.  I'll check with Klaasend, though.

Wow, I ask for one mod and I get three.

Thank you all for your answers. Thank you Klaas for allowing me to post this. Like I said, I have just one child, my miracle baby who is now grown with her own two babies and one due in August.  She not only is a wonderful mommy but in her spare time has made her own business on Etsy.com.  This is a review she got from one of her customers:

http://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/16789094.aspx

RAVE: Washable Nursing Pads (yes, from Etsy...)

"Okay, you all know by now that I have an incurable addiction to Etsy.  I have to take a few minutes and rave about one of the nicest sellers I have worked with so far:  Amber from:  http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5108846

When I decided to go with washable cloth pads instead of disposable ones, I spent, well, rather a lot of time looking at the ones available, both commercially and via the handcrafters on Etsy.  I chose to order from Amber's shop because the pads she makes use fun, funky prints for the side that's not next to your skin (I particularly love the sushi print)... and she was (and still is!) having a 50% off sale.

I received the first few pairs I ordered today, and I have to say, they TOTALLY exceed my expectations.  Not only are they made well, but she really went above and beyond in packaging them: each pair of pads were tied together with a colorful ribbon bow, and the entire order was neatly wrapped in tissue, and also tied with ribbon.  I love little touches like that.  She also included (for free!!) a lingerie bag to use for washing the pads, several nifty and appropriate samples from other Etsy crafters (baby soap and mother's milk tea), AND a recipe for "Lactation Cookies" that I cannot WAIT to make.

On to the practical: As soon as I got the package open, I had to tuck a set of the pads into my bra.  They're super thin, and didn't show, even underneath my probably-too-tight microfiber tank top.  For an additional $1 per set, she'll add extra layers of absorbant cotton or waterproof PUL, and she offers the option of  organic cotton velour for the layer next to your skin for an additional $2 per set.  I ordered more today.

In closing, if you're thinking about using washable cloth pads instead of disposable ones, check out Baby O'Really at Etsy.  The price is good, the product is wonderful, and the seller is a pleasure to work with."

You can see why I am one proud mom.  Gotta go now, get the grandbabies today, yay.
