NoRose, JSM, Trimm and any other monkey that is interested, my son did not get on the scheduled flight. It was overbooked in Cincinnati and he and his professor could have been separated and put on other flights. They elected to take a $200 voucher and a food voucher and take another flight around 2pm. So I guess I am going to be a nervous mama for a while longer. I do fine when I fly myself, but am a basket case whenever a family member flies. I have a nephew that is a pilot, too. Pls bear with me!!!

Hi FM     I know what you mean about worrying about other family members when they travel.  I do the same thing.  Just try to keep busy & keep your mind occupied and maybe the time will go by a little faster.   

I'm not feeling tip top today, so I've just been reading & catching up.  But I saw your post on the Caylee thread & wanted to respond to your worry.  Hope the time goes by fast & you can relax when the landing gear touches the runway.

Fanny I know how you feel.  I actually use a real time flight tracker when my boys fly and do not feel less anxious until I see the plane has landed.  You are a good mother to worry but know all will be fine.  Hugs and sending calming thoughts your way

The biggest reason I was worried is he is going to be an Engineer and the last time he and I flew together he had a bad anxiety attack. He is going to have to fly for his job. But everything was fine this time, he enjoyed the flight and said it was too short! I did track his flight and that did make it some better. I'll quit being a nervous nelly now.

Update:  They have arrested the 30 year old mom who put the tiny 5 day old baby in the trash in Sapulpa.  She has only been charged with child abuse as the baby is fine and has been given to DHS.  They said she has shown no remorse.
