Daughter loves taking photos, she's quite good and took some of our backyard. It seems Ellen DeGeneres is having a fall contest for fall photos? So she submitted some........thought I'd post a few here too. I love the leaves turning  Very Happy

This is the view off our back deck

This was the worst fall I can remember for color.  The lack of rain caused much of the vegetation to just dry up.  We had a slight color season, but not the brilliant reds and oranges of past year.  I have photos of my cottage from past years on my website.  When ever I wish to remember what it was like I go to those pages.  I sold the cottage a few years back.  It was just too much to keep up.

I see some lovely desktops!

Have to save my favorite to use for a background.... as if I'll ever tire of  Tylergal's rose that I'm using at work.

Of course, at home, I have None's roses.

None, these are beautiful.  Our foliage has started to turn and even though we had a lot of dead trees from disease secondary to drought, we had a beautiful fall also.

When I was in the Carolinas a few weeks ago, the leaves had started turning.  I swear there is no prettier place in the world in fall than the Blue Ridge Parkway.  Your photos are reminiscent of what I love about the Carolinas in the fall.
