Yeah, I agree. Back in February, when a hearing had been set for March 27 concerning the back-owed child support, they reported that the amount was ~$4,100. I know four months have passed, so the amount would have grown by now, but I cannot imagine that it has grown $8,000. in four months.

It's just so frustrating trying to pull this case together while every "fact" reported seems false or terribly confusing.

Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

O/T Had to run out of town 77 year old mother fell ill......she is fine now.....sleeping in hospital chairs is rough...but I am back now...trying to catch up on reading of the past week ....so are we searching for anything right now? Any names or places that I can help with?....

I just finished reading the Art write up and I have always thought that Gr g Sykes knows where Haleigh is and eventually shared that with Ron and Teresa but now I am wondering if that is even so because logic would tell you that they have to bring her home eventually and bringing her back to an rv would not seem logical in the middle of a custody battle....You would think that his lawyer and family members would be advising him to get a nice place for her to come home to and to get a job if he can....especially since he just got 12,000 dollars.....so strange....I know Ron must love his daughter but I think that the kids would both be better off with Crystal.....JMO

I have mixed feelings on Crystal getting this debt paid for her...
first of all, I wish that Ron and Crystal would have gotten together and put the money towards the reward fund for Haleigh...Ron was owed the money for back child support...he got a portion of the money owed to him...Crystal actually made out in this..someone paid off a huge debt for her...but the problem is, this Barbara paid this debt, but Crystal will just get herself behind in support again...it is like when someone would pay off your credit card, then you go and charge the limit on it again...what have you learned from it? Crystal is not working, doesn't intend to work...so how is she going to pay her support for Ron Jr.? She won't that is how...but, still it was very nice of this woman to pay the money...I just think that it could have been better spent towards finding Haleigh..not paying off Crystal's back child support payments...but it is Barbara's money to do with as she wanted to...jmo
