It seems that there isn't much talk about this case on several forums. There isn't anything new, and what we have now, I don't know what is truth or rumors.

I agree, and all the while there is zip going on a child is waiting to be brought home (passed on or alive), she a least deserves the dignity to be "found", and if passed on buried with dignity and compassion. This is one of the worst cases I can remember due to absolutely no info and the LE's inability to clear those closedt to the case. IMO it all leads back to Ron and Misty, and if Ron had nothing to do with it, he should pressure his new bride with any and everything to tell the truth and give a true and proper timeline so LE can either rule them out or focus on them even more. I do worry about this case never being solved.

Could very well be a case that doesn't get solved  Not only should Ron pressure Misty, but so should his mother and grandma. Nothing makes any sense.

Agreed again.....the only thing that is consistent in this case is that NOTHING makes sense....

Jarred James McKie told the deputy he had been sleeping so soundly because he was doing cocaine the night before, according to the Sheriff's Office report.

Does that sound a bit familiar in the Haleigh case???

(The law enforcement agencies involved in the case of the missing girl are scheduled to meet again soon to evaluate the progress in the investigation. At the last meeting, it was noted that a lot of evidence pertaining to the investigation was gathered by techs, but not all of it had been analyzed.)   Well, maybe if they ever get around to analyzing all the evidence, there may be some news. There is no excuse for not having the evidence all analyzed.

Houston is approximately a 3 hour drive from where I live and Eastland is about an hour and a half by car.

No, TB she does not have to be in Houston. Art Harris is the one that wrote that she lives in Houston. You are correct in that it could be Huntsville, Kingswood or any of the surrounding little cities.

I was just going over my list of players and saw this:

"Great Grandmother (Paternal) Barbie Squires." (I believe she was mentioned in a news article. I'll look her up in a bit.)

Could this possibly be the Barbara in Houston?

TN's maiden name was Squires. G/ma Sykes was married to a Squires before... this Barbara could be the now wife of this Squires.. thus she would be the paternal step great grandmother.
It gets confusing when there are so many step-family members.

Also would like to add... Barbara is a very common name for a woman. The Barbara who donated the money could be anybody, would not necessarily have to be related to the Cummings or Crystal either.
