I called Crystal Sheffield’s attorney Kim Picazio for a statement. Picazio would only say that search was conducted at the request of Crystal’s family members.
So Crystal's family members wanted the search of their own property 

NOT SO FAST!!    Crystal has two seperate families, her moms and her dads, keep in mind that her dad and his mother n law ruby kanger are the ones that retained cobra in this case and they may be the ones who requested it.

No problem, I'm just confused by all of this. That is very costly to do what LE is doing, just trying to make sense of this

Not to mention it is KP's job to make make sure her client does not look bad. I for one do not put much stock in what KP says. sorry it is just MO on this.

I am with you No Rose.  I have followed this case from the beginning and read all the time.  Backed off from posting as it has been so confusing and emotionally charged.

I hope they bring this baby home and pray it will be soon regardsless of who asked for what search and where.

GLEN ST. MARY, FL -- Search teams have finished a thorough search of Haleigh Cummings' grandmother's property, and are now searching another relative's property nearby.

The first search, on 30 acres belonging to Marie Griffis, turned up animal remains, as expected, but nothing else.

Investigators told First Coast News they wanted to make sure they were following through on every possibility, so divers, diggers and searchers went through the property after learning several animals were buried there.

After completing the search on Griffis' land, the searchers moved over to another relative's property, a 25-acre tract.

About 40 investigators, including the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office dive team and cadaver dogs, came to Baker County early this morning and searched through a pond and under several trailers.

Investigators said they were just being thorough, and that they would be remiss if they didn't check the burials to confirm they are animals.

They said they have no reason to doubt the family's claim that only animals are buried there, but felt they needed to be thorough.

Griffis' property was checked already, but it was during the first week of the investigation, and it wasn't a very thorough search at that time, according to investigators.

Haleigh's mother, Crystal Sheffield, also lives on that property in Baker County.

Today marks the first major search effort since police gathered all the search teams together to redefine their focus in the search for Haleigh.

???????????? So, they have already searched 30 acres, and completed it.......not that I think she's buried there, but how in the heck could you thoroughly search that size acreage and move onto to the other tract that quickly.......

I'm rather confused about that.  If you pull up Simon's radio show from Sunday. I don't think Cobra said something different.
If I am correct, his closing comment was,  that Crystal was not happy about the search.  And if I further remember correctly they were notified the search was going to occur....  So, what kim said versus my memory is a bit different.

LOL~Who know, whose property HAS been searched????? What about TN's property? Her boyfriend's.......I would never expect her body to be found on either Ron or Crystal's property (that would be beyond stupid.....well, nevermind). I think everyone's property should have been searched in the very beginning along with the any other suspicious areas......LE seems to constantly drop the ball on this one and I have to wonder why.

See, I doubt for one minute that Haleigh would be with someone that would be tooo close.  Let's all remember the ..so called relation....that inserted himself into the Haleighbug Center.

Jeremiah Regan...obviously CLOSE enough to this family to become personally involved with the center.

I had read an article on a search they had done for a missing child. Went to a residence twice and the third time, found the child in the attic.  Never checked there the first two times.
