I asked this morning, but maybe nobody knew the answer, is that common to bury horses on one's property? It would seem that would take quite a bit of work to do, I honestly don't know, but it sure would seem to be.

it does seem like a lot of work doesn't it? why not just have it hauled away? when we lived on a ranch as a kid and a cow or animal died, someone came and got it and disposed of it...can you imagine how deep a hole would have to be to bury a horse?? and why do that?

Yes, its common, if you own this much land and have alot of animals of course if one dies you usually bury it somewhere on the property, there's nothing else to do with it really.....

What did Johnny Jack do that he is still in jail?

I can find it for you but I am betting that Heart has it handy...she is excellent at providing links on these people!

http://www.myfoxorlando.com/dpp/news/local/062609_Property_searched_for_missing_girl

They have now moved down the road to another property a few miles away to search the property belonging to Haleigh's maternal great grandfather.

Thanks  Why was this not done sooner? I'm really confused by this, sorry.

NRCG, lets not forget that JOHNNY  JACK  LAURAMORE was arrested on 6/13, is still locked up and  no bond listed on him.
Could you tell me who this Lauramore person is, I'm following to many cases, and can't remember who this guy is.

Johnny Jack = Johnny Sheffield's half brother, ex-husband of Marie Griffis, step-father of Crystal, and HaLeigh's step grandfather.
Thanks  That was a mouth full.

lol, I think I left out Crystal's hes also Crystal's half uncle as well.

Wow....this is strange news....a lot of accusations have been flying around for months now and all of the sudden they want their property searched to clear up ...what?.....
And LE agrees to do it just because....and continues to move on to other properties...makes no sense to me.

So you can bury the large animal on your property or have the animal taken away for disposal. I would imagine cremation of a favorite horse also some people may do. I've never thought about any of this before, since I never lived on a farm, I was just curious.

I can tell you my ex husband lived out in the California desert and my son told me he buried everything out there, animals, old cars, etc etc.

I have no doubts that it happens, but it still seem like a heck of a lot of work to me!
We never buried the  dead cattle, someone came and got them...it was in California as well! God only knows what is buried there!
