It turns out that one of the suspects (WHICH ONE???) threw someone ( I think a choller) into the sea a couple of years back and they think that there might be a connection there and he and his team is investigating this right now.

On your question if I was with Joran in the carnavals season when there was an incident, I will explain to you the following:
Yes I was with him on that day. On that day there was a parade in Oranjestad. We stood on the bridge at the Wilhelmina Park. That moment a druggie came to us. Joran had given him beer. The druggie had thrown the beer on the ground and started annoying us. Joran had called the police force that stood near. The police force had removed the druggie. After a while the druggie returned and started annoying us. He had grabbed Satish at its hand and wanted with him fight. At that moment Joran grabbed him and threw him off the bridge into the water.

hmmm I hate to say it but that sounds more like self defense than criminal. I'd toss the bum into the water too if it was persistant and annoying and trying to strike up a fight, especially after the police removed the bum already one time.
Now looking at it from another view, Joran could of bodily harmed the bum and tossing it over the bridge. Pending how far the bum dropped and what is below it could possibly hit. And Joran could of called the police over once again to deal with it and escort the bum off again. IMHO
