Yeah, we talk a lot sometimes.  I am reading Front Page comments.  I still really like some of those and post there once in a while mostly just read.

wow... it's been 7 years since Columbine...

I remember it well, mrs. red! That was my oldest daughter's senior year and I was teaching at the same school.  Of course, we knew what was going on even though we were having classes.   I wanted to get my baby out of class and just hold her in my classroom!  It was such a scary day!

I remember it well, mrs. red! That was my oldest daughter's senior year and I was teaching at the same school.  Of course, we knew what was going on even though we were having classes.   I wanted to get my baby out of class and just hold her in my classroom!  It was such a scary day!

OT

Since it is kind of slow, I have a quick question that is personal.  Have any of you had a Dobutamine stess echo?   I am concerned about the drug they administer and I am wondering about side effects.  Scheduled for tomorrow AM

  AZ..  I never heard of it? But maybe you can do a search online.. I'm sure it will list side effects of there are any.

Sometimes I don't like to read possible side effects.

Just by knowing them I sometimes think I bring em on!  LOL

I know!  They apparently adminster a drug that speeds up your heart involuntarily....I hate that out of control feeling.   I don't think there is anything wrong with my heart, but the doctor wants it done.  I am making myself sick worrying about it.  silly me.

I know that feeling AZ all too well.  I was only 24 when i was rushed to a cardilogist with a heart rate of 160, and previously I had been sitting still.

After a battery of test...echos included, but not the kind with the dye...

Diagonosed with a mitral valve prolapse and  was prescribed inderal daily which slowed my heart rate down.

Dont worry, you will be fine, and it's always good to rule everything out.

Thanks Jacquie,  I know I will be,  it is just that little doubt that seeps in!    in know there is a circulation problem in my leg, which is why I went to them, but I walked 3 or 4 miles a week prior to January, and then started having some problems. My internist is in a cardiologist group, and when he said he was going to test me for everything, he wasn't kidding.  this is my 7th and last test.  I am ready for a diagnosis! I hate Doctors, and I hate having a problem!  I just want to be back to normal!

I hear you, Dr's can make you feel sicker, cause they can fill you with worry.

Oh gosh! better clarify. I wasn't teaching at Columbine.  I meant my daughter and I were at the same high school (in Arkansas) when it happened.  But it was so upsetting that I wanted to get my daughter out of her class and bring her to my classroom.   At our school we knew what was going on in Colorado because we had people watching the news.  I'm sorry if I misled y'all!
