looking for occupants of a vehicle as possible witnesses

The vehicle is a green box-style minivan that was seen in the area of the Hollywood Park Playground (which, I believe, is right across the street from the apartment complex).  They want to speak with the occupant(s).  They are also following up (through the FBI) on a Columbus tip, but he wouldn't say what that tip was.

No real other new information as far as I could tell.

A few more notes.  They have now involved Wayne County investigators.  Locals seem to be very pleased about that.  Sheriff also said they don't know who the perp is yet, otherwise they would have arrested him.  Detroit PD is also involved now too and assisting in the investigation.

Keeping my fingers cross, and my prayers hopeful for a safe return.

cookie my brother was a dad at 16, older mom, she was 19. when they broke up, she made it a nightmare for him to see my nephew...he had court ordered visitation and the cops still wouldn't do anything, he took her back to court without a lawyer because he couldn't afford one, cost him to file, judge gave her a stern warning (states do not pay for custody lawyers, only criminal) she changed her number, wouldn't answer the door, cops still doing nothing, then she moved, remarried, he couldn't locate her, he ran out of money to keep going back to court and yet pay his child support the whole time...my parents were in no shape financially to help him hire an attorney...I could go on but I won't.

from age 4 till he was 18, none of us saw my nephew. Just heard rumors about him from friends who knew her. It was painful.

Like I said, it's wrong he didn't see Neveah all those years, but I'd like to know more.

good points...at least your brother tried and I give him all the credit in the world..must have been a difficult situation for him and your family...
also, I really feel that it is wrong for the other parent to keep the other parent out of the child's life just for spite or otherwise, unless there is abuse of any kind....A child benefits far more from knowing and having both parents in their lives if they are both loving caring parents..The child suffers no matter what...Parents being selfish for their own personal reasons....have seen a lot of it with  friends and family...

He is very much a creep, but I don't think we are going to find that he had anything to do with Nevaeh's disappearance, at least that is what I think. I don't even want to think about what he was burning in his backyard

He is very much a creep, but I don't think we are going to find that he had anything to do with Nevaeh's disappearance, at least that is what I think. I don't even want to think about what he was burning in his backyard 

if he is in fact a registered sex offender, my guess is he was burning items that he had possesion of that would be cause for violation of his parole.....I'm just guessing here.  But then again if he is an SO then he already violation his probation by not registering right??  Seems strange he was only *arrested* for the fire incident and not anything else.

Maybe I should ask this first - do we know 100% that he is an RSO?

Leroy, I don't know for sure, this was just posted on Monroe Talks.   I just read on one of the MEN stories that James Easter is not on the national sex offender registry. He was convicted of indecent exposure years ago and a DNR conviction before that. Also, someone asked about the paternal grandmother taking off with money. Apparently, she was ASKED to leave Monroe due to not getting along with JB and family members.
